Base 7 Projection:
This is the last major base 7 vector for an Israeli war involving Lebanon and Syria for quite some time to come. It is April-June 2003. Attacks by Hezbollah and Syrian-supported terrorist groups in the West Bank may well be the trigger. High probability that US troops and some Nato forces from nations like France and the UK will occupy Lebanon and also use Israel as a base of operations.
Israel will launch horrendous air strikes on both Lebanon and Syria, similar to what Nato launched against the Serbs in 1999. Damascus will largely be destroyed. It is possible Israel will use nuclear weapons against Syria.
This war will probably fuse with an even broader war with Iraq and Iran that will involve Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf Oil Emirates. Although the base 7 vector for war with Iraq does not come up again until August/September 2003, it could begin early this year even before Israeli-Lebanese-Syrian hostilities commence.
How long will this great Middle East war last? It will likely drag out until October 2005, when the final battlegrounds remaining are Egypt, Turkey, Israel, and Cyprus. These nations will probably be overcome by Iraq and Iran sometime in March-July 2006.
Then again, if certain Catholic and European prophecies involving Russia invading Europe play out in 2003 (there is a 1 in 4 chance according to base 7), then the war in the Middle East will bottom out before autumn 2003 even arrives.
Nostradamus and Biblical Perspective:
Was the coming war in the Middle East foreseen by Nostradamus and the Bible prophet Jeremiah? It is possible.
It remains possible that this will become the war of Alus, prophesied by Nostradamus in Quatrain 6.33, and also the terrible Middle East war predicted by the Biblical prophet Jeremiah. The Alus sanguinaire may be Syrian president Bashar al-Assad (AL-ASsad) and/or the United States (Al-US, a play on Al Qaeda).

biblical prophet Jeremiah appears to have foreseen the opening
salvos of this apocalyptic encounter. If his prophecy and
Nostradamus' War of Alus are related, it would appear that
following weeks, months, or even years of fighting, Alus (the US?)
will be defeated by the "last hand" ("dead hand")
of Saddam Hussein. Damascus and several other Syrian cities will
be destroyed or partially incinerated by Israeli (nuclear?)
missiles. However, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia will still
have to contend with Syria's allies: Iraq and "the men of
the east" (Iran). U.S., British, French, Spanish, and
Turkish air and naval power will also be deployed and the
conflict will spread throughout the entire Middle East.

A large portion of the Allied Western
fleet in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea will come under attack
by Iranian and Iraqi missiles. Many ships will be damaged or sunk.
For this reason, the Israeli leader, possibly Benjamin Netanyahu
(if Ariel Sharon is assassinated in November 2002), will not get
the full measure of "protection from sea" that was
"guaranteed." This will leave him open to Iraqi attack
by Saddam Hussein (or, if dead, one of his sons -- Uday or Qusay).
The defeat of the West and the United States in the Middle East is also prophesied by two modern European prophets. The US will be defeated in Saudi Arabia and the oil fields of the Persian Gulf will be taken over by Russia. Fears over Israeli strike on Syria -- First Israeli attack on Syria since the Yom Kippur war in 1973
The attack followed Islamic Jihad's claim of responsibility for Saturday's suicide bombing in a popular restaurant in Haifa in which the female bomber and 19 other people were killed. More than 55 people were wounded. The strike on Syria is the first Israeli attack there since the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Monday is the 30-year anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, when Egypt and Syria attacked Israel on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. Syria's foreign minister on Sunday called the overnight raid on a camp "a flagrant violation and a serious escalation" and said Damascus would complain to the United Nations in a closed Security Council meeting hastily called for 4 p.m. (2000 GMT). Imad Moustapha, Syrian charge d'affaires in Washington, accused Israel of "becoming more and more militaristic in its tendencies." Arab League spokesman Hisham Yousof said Syria had asked the Arab League to meet Sunday night to discuss the situation. The Ein Saheb camp, deep inside Syria, had been used by "many terror organizations," including Islamic Jihad, for training, the Israel Defense Forces said. But a spokesman from Islamic Jihad in Beirut said the group carried out no military activities in Syria. Israeli government spokesman Ra'anan Gissin told CNN the camp was 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the Syrian capital Damascus. "We will take whatever measure is necessary to defend our citizens, regardless of geographical location of these training camps," Gissin said. Israel, he said, had decided "to enlarge the scope of our operation against the Islamic Jihad and Hamas." The attack, Gissin said, sent a message to Syria and Iran to end their support for terrorism against Israel. "We will not tolerate the continuation of this axis of terror between Tehran, Damascus and Gaza to continue to operate and kill innocent men, women and children," he said. Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat told CNN he had called the White House to ask the Bush administration to help de-escalate the latest violence. The Palestinian Authority has said it does not have the security resources to restrain militant groups such as Hamas or Islamic Jihad. And, even if it did, doing so would cause civil war among Palestinians. U.S. President George W. Bush telephoned Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Sunday to offer U.S. condolences on the Haifa suicide bombing and to discuss Israel's retaliatory strike on Syria, a Bush administration official said. The official said the two men "agreed on the need to avoid heightening tensions in the region at this time." When asked whether the president in any way condemned the Israeli attack into a neighboring country, the official said: "Israel has the right to defend itself, but should consider the consequences of any action it takes."
Schroeder said regional peace efforts "become more complicated when ... the sovereignty of a country is violated. This is why the action in Syria is not acceptable." And in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the terrorist attack on a Haifa restaurant and Israel's retaliatory strike on Syria have created "growing concern and worry." On its Web site, the ministry said: "It is obvious that such actions will lead to widening of the geographic boundaries of the confrontation." The United Kingdom said it had urged all sides to exercise restraint. A Foreign Office statement said: "Israel is of course entitled to take steps to protect itself from terrorist attack, but these steps should be within international law. "Every act makes it more difficult to get back to the peace process." Mamoun Fandy, an expert on the region at the U.S. Institute for Peace, in Washington, said the situation has left leaders in a tough spot. "What the Israelis did today is a major move on the strategic chessboard throughout the Middle East, as well as globally," he told CNN. "This move requires a very deliberate reaction, given the high stakes involved." Fandy said Syrian President Bashar Assad was faced with a particularly tough choice. He "has to respond and put the Middle East on a countdown to hell, or he does not respond, and undermines his own legitimacy internally." He added: "Everybody's shaking in their boots now. They don't know how to respond to this major bluff." |
COMMENT (10/5/03): The great Middle East War, and thus World War III, may be about to begin. Today's air strike against Syria was the first in thirty years -- since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. There is no way for anyone to minimise the gravity of the events of today or the reality of the danger I predicted for this region to happen this year. Whether full-scale war follows from this strike or not, this is exactly the type of trigger I anticipated for such a conflict. At the moment my prediction for another major Arab-Israeli war as bad or worse than 1967 or 1973 is either PARTIALLY FULFILLED or CLOSE. Time will tell if it becomes completely FULFILLED. Please note that we are only four months later than the April-June 2003 vector.
Israel attacks Palestinian base near Beirut -- deepest bombing raid in Lebanon in over four yearsBy Zeina Karam in
Beruit, Lebanon June 8, 2004 LEBANON complained today to the United Nations about Israeli air strikes on a Palestinian militant base just south of Beirut, the deepest such bombing raid in Lebanese territory since Israeli troops withdrew from the south four years ago. In its letter of complaint, the Lebanese government called last night's air strike "a dangerous aggression" and said Lebanon reserved the right to request a Security Council meeting about it. Lebanese officials said the Israeli planes fired at least four rockets at targets in the hills at Naameh, about 8km south of Beirut. Palestinian guerrillas of the Syrian-backed Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command maintain an underground base in those hills. The attack damaged the Palestinian base, but there were no reports of casualties. Israel, which ended nearly 20 years of occupation of south Lebanon when it withdrew its troops in May 2000, said the strike was retaliation for a rocket attack on an Israeli naval boat earlier on Monday. A top Israeli defence official said Israel's air strike was a direct warning to the Lebanese government to restrain militant activities. "This signal, which was sent... by the air force, was aimed at Lebanon," Deputy Defence Minister Zeev Boim told Israel Radio on Tuesday. "This is a signal to Lebanon, a sovereign country." The Israeli military did not identify the type of aircraft or ordnance used, but it confirmed the target was a PFLP-GC base and said it stored weapons. Officials at Beirut airport, near Naameh, said three planes were spotted on the airport's radar screens flying up and down the Lebanese coast before the strike. Flights in and out of the airport were not affected. A spokesman for the PFLP-GC said the planes "attacked humanitarian positions and a clinic." Speaking on condition of anonymity, the PFLP-GC spokesman said "so far there are no human losses, only material losses." A second PFLP-GC official, Abu Rushdi, said the base no longer had a military purpose and the staff had left hours before the strike. He said Israel attacked it to "put pressure on Lebanon and Syria for their support of the (Palestinian) resistance." |
COMMENTS: All the cross border skirmishes with Hezbollah, air raid alerts in Syria, and verbal threats from Assad to Sharon and from Sharon to Assad do not a fulfillment of this prediction make. This sort of thing has been going on steadily since 2001. Periodic conflicts with Hezbollah go back much farther.
Still, two rare events occurred which cannot be ignored, one which could have easily triggered a war between Israel and Syria. One was the deepest bombing raids inside Lebanon by Israeli warplanes since 2000. It occurred just outside Beirut on June 7, 2004. The other event occurred on October 5, 2003 -- the first Israeli air strike inside of Syria since the Yom Kippur war of 1973. Indeed, the bombing raid nearly coincided with the 30th anniversary of the start of the 1973 war. Military strategists and interpreters of prophecy, especially Bible Code author Michael Drosnin and The Late Great Planet Earth author Hal Lindsey, have long warned that an Israeli attack on Syria or vice versa would likely trigger a third World War in the Middle East. It is something of a miracle that Israel's attack did not result in a larger, all-out Arab-Israeli war. Next time the world may not be so lucky.
The crisis remains in progress. My prediction of a terrible war between Israel, Lebanon, and Syria could still be fulfilled. The strikes in Syria and deep in Lebanon suggest to me that during 2003 and 2004 such a war got dangerously close to happening. As to whether it will conform in any way to Nostradamus' "war of Alus" or Jeremiah's war, both which would also require a seperate war spreading outwards from Iraq and neighbouring Iran, remains to be seen.

NEW PREDICTION: 5/10/02 -- This conflict, along with the December attack on Poland, will be associated with the "confusions in the Balkans" (and probably the Baltics as well) written of by so many European prophets. It will be a ruse essentially. Russia and Belarus, Big Russia and Little Russia (Castor and Pollux, the twins), possibly with the aid of Ukraine, will launch incursions into the former Soviet satellites: Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Yugoslavia.
Most of the fighting will take place in Hungary, the focal point of conflict between Nato troops and Russia. Why is not completely clear, but perhaps this is why the prophets call this war one of the "confusions." It will probably be over events in Yugoslavia, possibly the region known as Vojvodina which has many ethnic Hungarians.
Then again, both Hungary and Romania are equally aligned in this particular vector, derived from their great war of 1919. So look too to possible troubles between these two nations.
The timing of the war will be when Castor and Pollux are high in the northern sky: January through April. The actual vector for such a conflict is April 2003.
Castor and Pollux may also stand for Russia and the United States, who will become "enemies in the field."
Whatever the "reasons" Moscow will give for its actions, the Russian occupation of Hungary will serve two purposes: one, the re-annexation of Budapest into a new Eastern Bloc, and two, a base of operations from which to pour reinforcements into Yugoslavia -- its only remaining "ally" in the region.
US forces have been using Hungary as a staging base for peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Kosovo and will likely continue to do so. Both US and Russian troops are stationed in eastern Bosnia, Kosovo, and Macedonia as peacekeepers. Should hostilities break out, Russian troops will begin firing on SFOR and KFOR positions while others join up with the Russian regular army pouring into Serbia and Hungary.
Russian tanks will roll into Budapest accompanied by helicopter gunships and fighter jets. Moscow will issue a terrifying threat to the Nato alliance: withdraw from Eastern Europe and the Balkans or face Russia's formidable nuclear force. Washington, however, will refuse to stand down, matching Moscow's bluff with threats of its own.
Is there evidence of a Serb attack on Hungary in prophecy? Yes -- in Quatrain 10.62:
However, this will not be the war warned about -- the Russian blitzkrieg of Europe. What this conflict will do is set the stage for one.
For the Russians and Belarusians will "pretend" to lose the war and retreat back to within their own borders. The Nato troops will return to base and many of the troops called up to the front will return home, just as prophesied by Farmer Eilert.
Then, when the real invasion is launched in August 2003, the West will be completely caught off guard and will be ill-prepared to defend Europe from a three-pronged invasion in Scandinavia, Central Europe, and via the Balkans.
Base 7 Dates
There is much base 7 justification in believing that major warfare will come soon to the Balkans and Eastern Europe -- in singular Balkans conflicts and from Russia. Note how close the dates are for the following countries:
As we can see, the 2003-2006 period is especially treacherous. Based on this information, I suspect that this "phony war" and the invasion of Europe by Russia will likely occur by no later than 2006 and possibly as early as 2003. We are currently operating on the premise of a 2003 war, but this will be updated annually if needs be.
The point is still all too obvious -- the time of reckoning is near.
UPDATE (3/12/03): It is too early to tell what the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic will or will not lead to. It is important to note that Alois Irlmaier foresaw three Balkans (or near Balkans) leaders being murdered before a Russian invasion of the Balkans and the rest Europe:
If Zoran Djindjic was the first of the three, what might that portend? According to the Seer of Waldviertel, limited conflicts in Yugoslavia (now Serbia and Montenegro) and Bulgaria, possibly involving Russian forces, would precede World War III. Will Djindjic's assassination trigger one of these? Alois Irlmaier mentions a Middle East war preceding World War III and also the following events:
The destruction of NYC, prophesied here by Alois Irlmaier, is also considered by the Seer of Waldviertel as a pre-WW3 event. However, Irlmaier also predicts what can only be considered a war between China/North Korea and the United States happening beforehand as well. How uncomfortably the prophecies, old and new, others and my own, are coming together!

NEW PREDICTION: 1/23/03 -- In a scene reminiscent of February 28, 2001, the Seattle area may be struck again by a major earthquake. This time it may be more shallow and not as deep, causing greater damage and more fatalities. The time of danger is May 2003. Obviously, by this time, the US could be at war with China and North Korea and Seattle would certainly be one city that would be targeted by Chinese missiles if war does indeed break out. Then, of course, there is the alleged close encounter of Nibiru in May. However, barring these extreme events from happening, this will likely be yet another major seismic event for the Seattle area similar to 1965 and 2001. There is also a separate vector for a major earthquake or nuclear attack striking San Francisco in October 2003 (see 2003 (Part Three)).
4.8 Magnitude Earthquake Hits WashingtonThe Associated Press PORT ANGELES, Wash. April 25, 2003 — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8 hit deep beneath the Olympic Mountains early Friday, jolting much of western Washington. No major injuries or damage were reported, but the quake was felt across the Olympic Peninsula and in Seattle, 43 miles to the east, said Anthony Qamar, Washington state seismologist. "Because of its depth, it would cause light damage if any damage," Qamar said. A smaller aftershock registering 2.9 was recorded about two hours later. The quake hit at 3:02 a.m. PDT and was centered 31 miles beneath Olympic National Park. It was in the same deep geological structure as the 6.8 magnitude Nisqually earthquake that shook Seattle on Feb. 28, 2001. Friday's quake was three times as deep and 30 times more powerful than a 3.9 magnitude quake near Portland, Ore., Thursday. No injuries or damage were reported in that quake. |
COMMENT (4/25/03): Hard to know if this was "the" quake of the year or if it was a pre-quake to a much larger temblor or seismic event to come. Note the timing: we are nearing the May 2003 vector. Because it was a bit weaker than the 2001 quake, but in the exact same location (just as I stipulated), I will probably at least consider today's event a PARTIAL FULFILLMENT of this prediction should a larger quake not occur near Seattle this year. We must wait and see if a bigger one comes in May or several months later, so caution is the word.

NEW PREDICTION: 10/9/02 -- It is possible that seven years after the disastrous terrorist bombing of a housing facility at an US air base in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, another terrorist attack on US forces and facilities will occur in June 2003. Casualties will be quite high -- possibly in the hundreds.
Bear in mind that if this is an event that remains to be repeated as a similar event of equal or greater magnitude, that not only ground-based facilities and bases are in danger, but this time around, so are troops conducting exercises or on patrol, naval bases, and US warships.
If a major terrorist attack against US servicemen occurs in the last three months of 2002 or the first few months of 2003, this attack will likely be quite similar in nature -- only much worse. So, if a US naval ship is bombed in late 2002, for instance, there is high probability another will attacked during this vector. It will likely occur in the same region as well, although not necessarily.
Where might this happen? Due to the ongoing War on Terror, there are many possible places -- and many more the US may become embroiled in by summer 2003. If the world is at war by this time, this vector of June 2003 may actually be for a major and successful military assault on US forces by Saddam Hussein or some other enemy.
Blasts rock enclave of Westerners in Saudi capital -- Officials: At least three housing complexes set on fireMonday, May 12, 2003
Posted: 8:26 PM EDT (0026 GMT) RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (CNN) -- A series of "extremely powerful" blasts rocked Riyadh late Monday, setting ablaze at least three residential compounds housing a number of Westerners, officials said. All resulted from vehicles exploding about 11 p.m. [4 p.m. EDT] on the eve of a planned visit by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell to the city. A diplomatic source said Powell's plans to visit "remain in place." U.S. State Department officials confirmed the blasts, saying three housing complexes where Westerners lived were attacked. The location of the fourth explosion was not known. A U.S. official in Washington late Monday told CNN that "initial suspicions" are that the explosions "could very well" have been an al Qaeda operation against Americans and other Westerners in Saudi Arabia. The official said the initial working hypothesis is based on three points: • The simultaneity of the explosions, an al Qaeda hallmark • Intelligence that led to the May 1 State Department travel warning concerning Saudi Arabia, which suggested al Qaeda was "in the final stages" of planning an attack or attacks there • The proximity of one of the bombed sites to the house where Saudi authorities seized explosives and weapons May 8, saying they belonged to al Qaeda According to diplomatic sources, the explosions took place in Courdoval, Jedawal and The Hamra. In Riyadh, U.S. Embassy spokesman John Burgess said Americans live in each of the three compounds, which are within three to four miles of each other in the western suburbs of this city of 4.3 million. Raed Qusti, bureau chief for the privately owned Arab News, said the blasts could be heard on the outskirts of the Saudi capital. He said witnesses in the area reported hearing gunfire just before the explosions. There were no immediate reports of deaths, but an unknown number of people were injured, Qusti said. State Department officials said they had received no reports of casualties. The blasts were "extremely powerful," Qusti said. "We're talking about blasts that would shatter windows and doors," he told CNN. Nearby residents have been asked to remain inside their homes, Qusti said. The explosions, which included car bomb attacks on housing compounds, came just hours before Secretary of State Colin Powell was to visit Saudi Arabia. The blasts occurred in quick succession, the last coming early Tuesday outside the headquarters of a joint U.S.-Saudi owned company. "We don't know how many are injured, but we received 50 and the number is growing," an official at the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh told The Associated Press by telephone, without identifying himself. Three Western compounds were attacked, an American who lives in one of the targeted areas told the AP in an e-mail exchange from Riyadh. There was extensive damage to property, he said on condition of anonymity, adding that he believed there had been some deaths ... 21 Killed, 200 Injured in Riyadh BombingCNN UPDATE (May 13, 2003): The triple car bombings Monday night killed at least 21 people, including eight Americans and seven Saudis, authorities said. Nearly 200 others were wounded in the blasts, including 17 Americans. One State Department official said some of the wounded Americans are "in pretty bad shape." |
COMMENT (5/12/03): This news story continues to unfold at this hour. Casualty figures are uncertain. But clearly this is a PREDICTION FULFILLED in any event -- happening one month earlier than the June 2003 vector projected. It is no coincidence that the photo I showed above for dramatic purposes just below the title of this prediction was of the Dhahran, Saudi Arabia facility bombed in 1996 nor is it a coincidence that I alluded to that incident as the base 7 precedent for this prediction. Although I did not specify Saudi Arabia as the place where this attack would occur, it was certainly near the top of the potential list and the reason for the Dhahran photo. Further clarification remains regarding casualties. If we are fortunate, perhaps this aspect of the prediction will have been somewhat mitigated. However, we should be gravely concerned by this event, because now the danger has substantially increased that the atomic destruction of NYC, or at least another 9/11 type terrorist attack in NYC, will occur in July 2003 (or even in June) as I have predicted on 2003 (Part Three).

NEW PREDICTION: 9/25/99 -- This originally appeared on this page on May 9, 1999, but was removed by me after only 24 hours. I have since felt that anyone who is a head-of-state or intending to run for a high political office should be given all the warning time possible -- even if it is many years -- should it appear that their lives may one day be in jeopardy.
This is the second vector for a potential assassination of the US president: June 2003. If the president is not in danger at this time, then a leading senator who has strong family ties to Bill Clinton may be instead. Why? Senator Robert F. Kennedy, the brother of slain president John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in June 1968. Thirty-five years later (5 X 7 years) this scenario may play out once again in a different way. The person with strong family ties to the current president who may become Senator of New York State in 2000, is his wife: Hillary Rodham Clinton.
She will face danger from assassination when announcing her bid to run for the White House in 2003. The assailant's origins will be in the Middle East, but he or she will not be connected with any known terrorist organisation.
NEW YORK DEMOCRATS NOMINATE HILLARY CLINTON FOR SENATE -- PARTY SPOKESWOMAN COMPARES FIRST LADY TO ROBERT KENNEDY
Some had termed the evening more a coronation than a convention because the vote formalized what had been expected for months. The convention was expected to be the largest in the state party's history, according to New York Democratic Party spokeswoman Judith Hope. "This is the kind of excitement we haven't seen since Bobby Kennedy," Hope said on the eve before the convention during a news conference on the steps of the arena. Robert F. Kennedy was nominated by New York Democrats for the U.S. Senate in 1964. He won the election and held the office until he was assassinated in California while seeking the 1968 Democratic nomination for president. |
UPDATE (5/25/00): I no longer believe that June 2003 is a second vector for a presidential assassination: it is Hillary Clinton's time of peril without a doubt.
This is also a prediction within a prediction, the first one being that the current First Lady will become Senator of New York State. As the marquee above demonstrates, she will not have substantial opposition this fall. However, whether she takes New York or not, she will still announce her intention to run for the White House in 2003 and will likely become a target for assassination in June 2003.
Note from the marquee that she has now been linked to Bobby Kennedy, just as I said she would well over a year ago.
UPDATE (6/23/00): I have now uncovered a second potential vector for this event: August 2004. In some respects this would make more sense since 2004 will be the election year. However, either date should be carefully noted.

Sergei Bodrov Jr., missing in avalanche, one of Russia's biggest movie stars -- film crew feared lost as well
BBC News Russia's film world is fearing the worst after actor Sergei Bodrov's disappearance in an avalanche in the mountains of the North Caucasus. The 31-year-old, who by a tragic irony came to fame with his role in Prisoner of the Caucasus, was shooting on location when he and many of his film crew were caught up in the terrifying landslide which is believed to have claimed scores of lives. His father, respected film director Sergei Bodrov Senior, is said to have accepted there is no longer any hope of finding his son alive under the collapsed glacier which scientists predict will take 12 years to thaw. It would be a tragically untimely end for an actor who won the hearts of millions with his touching portrayals of youth in films which reflected modern Russian history. For international audiences, he will mainly be remembered as the hapless raw recruit taken prisoner in Chechnya in the 1996 film directed by his father, which was based on a Tolstoy novella. Nominated in America for an Academy Award, Prisoner of the Caucasus still stands as one of the great anti-war films and made waves in Russia when it was still reeling from defeat in the first Chechen war. But Bodrov moved on with the times and for Russian audiences he is better known for a trilogy of hard-bitten thrillers shot by director Alexei Balabanov. Brother (1997) and its sequel Brother 2 (2000) star Bodrov as a young war veteran returning to a civilian life where he soon finds himself killing again. Guided by a sense of honour and a deep cynicism, Bodrov's character wades into the sea of crime engulfing Russia's cities, dealing out rough justice to gangsters and pimps and corrupt officials, and in doing so striking a chord with Russia's vast, disaffected majority. Bodrov describes them as films about "human worth". In Balabanov's War (2002), the actor has a relatively minor role, again as a shell-shocked soldier held hostage in Chechnya, but the contrast with the 1996 film could not be greater. The film, shot as Russian troops were fighting again in Chechnya, is a nihilistic tale of revenge as a Russian soldier cuts a swathe through his former Chechen captors. If the film has any message, it is that there are no laws to this conflict other than that of vengeance, and the combatants should trust their own leaders even less than the enemy. Leading Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov described Bodrov this week as an "image of our time, a hero of our time". Bodrov was directing a film of his own, to be called Messenger, when the avalanche occurred. He made his debut last year as director and writer of Sisters, which won Russia's prestigious Kinotavr award. At the time, he joked in an interview for Itogi magazine that "No-one ever knows if they're shooting their debut or their epilogue". He will also be remembered for his work in Russian television, as an occasional interviewer on ORT's flagship Vzglyad current affairs programme and as presenter of a reality-based game show, Last Hero. COMMENT (9/26/02): It is indeed rare, but on occasion a prediction using the base 7 system will be fulfilled prematurely -- in this case, ten months prematurely. The magnitude of this tragedy, still unfolding, leaves me little doubt this may be the case. Nevertheless, I must still stress caution in the months to come between now and next July. Aaliyah was not the only one to die in a plane crash last year -- there were two others. Likewise, Sergei Bodrov and his unfortunate film crew may not be only ones affected by this prediction. In any event, nothing more need happen to already consider this prediction, sadly, as FULFILLED.
Muslim row filmmaker Theo van Gogh murdered
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands -- Controversial Dutch filmmaker and newspaper columnist Theo van Gogh, who made a film about violence against women in Islamic societies, has been murdered in Amsterdam, police said. Police said they arrested a man at the scene after a shootout. The suspect, a 26-year-old man with dual Dutch-Moroccan nationality, and a police officer were slightly wounded. Filmmaker Theo van Gogh had been threatened after the August airing of the movie "Submission," which he made with a right-wing Dutch politician who had renounced the Islamic faith of her birth. Van Gogh, 47 -- who said he was the great grandson of the brother of famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, who was also named Theo -- had received police protection after the film's release. The killing immediately rekindled memories of the 2002 assassination of Dutch anti-immigration politician Pim Fortuyn who was shot to death days before national elections. Van Gogh had been making a film about Fortuyn, which was due for release in December.
Police told The Associated Press that Van Gogh's killer shot and stabbed his victim and left a note on his body. They declined to comment on reports that the filmmaker's neck was slashed. Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende called on the Dutch people to remain calm and not to jump to conclusions. In a report by Dutch national broadcaster NOS quoted by AP, an unidentified witness who lives in the neighborhood said she heard six shots and saw the suspect concealing a gun. She said he walked away slowly, spoke to someone at the edge of the park, and then ran. She said he was wearing a long beard and Islamic garb and appeared to be either an Arabic man or someone disguised as a Muslim. Another unidentified witness told Dutch Radio 1 the killer arrived by bicycle and shot Van Gogh as he got out of a car. "He fell backward on the bicycle path and just laid there. COMMENT (11/10/02): At first a letter I received from Jimmy directing my attention to this cult filmmaker's death as being PREDICTION OVERKILL did not make immediate sense to me. However, after carefully noting that both the letter writer and the news report said that this director was murdered while working on the set of a new film about the slain Dutch politician, Pim Fortuyn, I can see the reasoning.

Two clues, however, are apparent: she will likely be a blonde and it is also possible that she will come from a very famous family and may bear the family name. She will commit suicide by means unknown or die from a drug overdose in July 2003. The chances of this happening are slim, probably only around 14%, but the prediction must be posted nevertheless. The fiery death of 60s/70s star Teresa Graves in October 2002 had a similar low likelihood of happening, but it did.

Officials said carbon monoxide from lanterns in the bus may have caused the deaths Friday of Rosie Nix Adams and the man, whose identity was being withheld until his family was notified. Adams, 45, and her husband, Philip Adams, had recently sold a home in Montgomery County and were preparing to travel in the bus, The Leaf-Chronicle newspaper reported. They had parked the vehicle behind a house on state Highway 12 for repairs. Emergency Medical Service Lt. Mell James said dispatchers got a call at 5:33 p.m. about the bodies from an unidentified man. James told The Leaf-Chronicle that EMS workers found drug paraphernalia, including needles and pipes, on the bus near the bodies. Rosie Adams was the daughter of June Carter Cash and Richard Nix. She was a songwriter and had pursued a performing career. The Leaf-Chronicle identified the man as a bluegrass fiddle player. Adams' mother died in May and her stepfather, country superstar Johnny Cash, died last month. Friday night, the body of 45-year-old Rosie Nix Adams was found alongside the body of bluegrass musician Jimmy Campbell inside an old, converted school bus. Family friend Barbara Plyler said that she knew something was wrong when she opened the door to this old school bus behind her house Friday afternoon. Plyler said, "The heat hit my face and the first thing I did was climb up and turn ... off the two lanterns." Rosie Nix was inside, she tells us, sitting on a makeshift couch. Her friend, Campbell, was sitting a few feet away. "They just looked as natural as anything, just kind of slumped over, when they were found," said Plyler. Plyler told News 2 that the bus wreaked of propane gas fumes. Investigators say that Rosie Nix's husband actually came to the bus Friday and found both bodies inside this bus. They also say that the details surrounding those deaths are suspicious. Plyler told News 2 that authorities found drug needles near the bodies. So far, investigators won't say whether that was a factor in their deaths. But investigators say that right now, it looks like carbon monoxide poisoning may be the cause of death. Plyler told News 2 that Rosie lived inside the bus and used the lanterns for heat. "I didn't know that propane lantern fumes can kill you," said Plyler. During her interview, Plyler said that she didn't want anyone to see her face. But she did want everyone to know who Rosie was. "She had terminal cancer, a lot of people didn't know that. She was supposed to die about a year and a half ago," said Plyler. "She was my sister." Rosie Nix's death follows the death of her mother last May, and the death of her stepfather, country superstar Johnny Cash, in September. COMMENT (7/21/04): At the time this story first broke, it had not been conclusively determined that a suicide had actually been committed. Also, believe it or not, famous as she was, a photograph of Rosie Carter Nix Adams was nowhere to be found on the Internet. I finally acquired the above photo of Rosie and her late mother June Carter Cash off the net earlier this year. There is another photo of Rosie, taken more recently, on a Johnny Cash Family tribute website.
The year 2003 period was a tragic one for the Johnny Cash family, with the deaths of Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, and then daughter Rosie Carter. For that reason I am sorry I have to proceed with this "I-told-you-so" routine, but I did make a prediction and it was a PREDICTION FULFILLED. It specified a blonde actress, daughter from a famous family, would commit suicide or die from a drug overdose. The only inaccuracy is that Rosie was not an actress. She was instead a singer/songwriter, but definitely a blonde, and indeed from the famous Cash family. Death from carbon monoxide poisoning, under "suspicious" circumstances, with drug needles present remains to this day as close to an official cause or official circumstances of death as will likely ever be released. Families of a deceased loved one often do not like words like "suicide" or "overdose" to appear in reports. I think, however, there is enough information for us to determine that this prediction was correct.

COMMENT (5/10/05): This confession by Brooke Shields has been highly publicised since the above report was made ... and in greater detail. In all probablility, this was the suicide predicted for July 2003 that didn't happen. The daughter was born in June, so it is likely this is describing a July suicide -- exactly when forecast. I would consider former child star Brooke Shields to be more than qualified to fulfill the base 7 "Margaux Hemingway suicide revisited" scenario. However, she did not go through with it, which may explain why the somewhat lesser known female celebrity Rosie Nix Adams Cash, who was blonde and one of the three Johnny Cash family tragedies of 2003, committed suicide in October 2003 instead.
So here, we are given an unusual glimpse of an event that almost happened ... something one usually would never disclose to the public. Only recently in an interview has Donna Summers revealed something similar almost happened to her in November 1976. Such disclosures, after the fact, are indeed rare.
So, this was probably the one: a CLOSE CALL, but too close for Rosie Nix Carter to escape.

NEW PREDICTION: 10/1/02 -- I only discovered this threat fairly recently. For those of you who are now familiar with the base 7 system, the line of tragedy and where it may lead should appear quite obvious.
The vector of danger for this actress, whoever she is, will likely be July 2003 or October/November 2003. One other thing that can be deduced from the case histories to be discussed is that she will probably have dark hair.
We start 14 (2 x 7) years before the 2003 vector with the murder of actress Rebecca Schaeffer, age 21. She had starred in the TV sitcom, My Sister Sam, and one film, The End of Innocence. The future looked bright on July 18, 1989 when she prepared to meet with director Francis Ford Coppola to audition for his film, Godfather III. However, when she opened the door to her apartment she found herself face to face with a man named John Bardo, a deranged fan who had been stalking her for over two years. Bardo shot Schaeffer in the chest. She died instants later.
Now take note of this disturbing fact, for it demonstrates how prior events in the chain of misfortune can directly influence an event: Bardo's idea to kill Rebecca Schaeffer was inspired, he admitted when under questioning, by a similar event that occurred seven years earlier.
In 1982 (my research was unable to find out the month), 7 years before the Schaeffer murder, actress Theresa Saldana was herself attacked by a homicidal fan. Saldana, like Schaeffer, was an "up and coming" actress. She had starred in several films since her debut in 1978: I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Defiance, and Raging Bull. A whacked-out fan named Arthur Jackson planned to get caught and executed after murdering Saldana so he could join her in death. When Saldana opened the door of her apartment, Jackson pulled a knife and stabbed her ten times. A deliveryman intervened and disabled the stalker.
Fortunately, Theresa Saldana survived her injuries and went on to continue with her film career.
Not so lucky was TV sitcom and
Poltergeist film star, 22-year-old Dominique Dunne.
That same year, on October 30, she was strangled into a coma by
her abusive ex-boyfriend and died on November 4. Dunne took
Saldana's place, it would appear.
I traced the line back another 7 years and discovered yet another similar situation to Schaffer and Saldana: 36-year-old actress Barbara Colby was gunned down on July 24, 1975 along with actor James Kiernan as they walked to her car after teaching an acting class in Los Angeles. She had appeared in the TV series The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Columbo, and The Odd Couple.
The line seemed to end there, perhaps due to lack of online resources for years like 1968 and 1961 or perhaps the influence skipped over several 7-year periods.
However, it was not the end. The origin of this horrid line of tragic death by homicide was finally uncovered in the year 1947 in the month of January.
This
is now 28 (4 x 7) years before the Colby murder. And it remains
one of the most gruesome Hollywood murders in the history of
crime: The Black Dahlia Murder. 
I will not get into all the details of this hallmark crime, there are so many, save to say that Elizabeth Short, nicknamed "The Black Dahlia" because she always wore black clothes, was a 22-year-old aspiring model who wished to act in movies. Although there are plenty of press release publicity photos of Short, she never realised her dream. On the night of January 14, 1947 she was last seen leaving the Biltmore Hotel with a "gentleman" -- quite possibly someone posing as a studio agent. Her body was found, severed in half, in the Crenshaw District January 15, 1947.

So, we can see that The Black Dahlia murder of 1947 created a terrible influence for aspiring actresses in 1975, 1982, and 1989. Will the influence skip over 2003 or will a similar event play out? Worse, will the 56-year-old Black Dahlia case be eclipsed by something far worse?

Record producer Phil Spector arrested in slaying of actress Lana Clarkson
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Legendary record producer and "Wall of Sound" creator Phil Spector, who was arrested Monday in the early-morning shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson at his home, was released from police custody Monday evening after posting $1 million bond. The district attorney's office said an arraignment date hasn't been scheduled. Earlier Monday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Richard Westin said Spector, 62, had been taken to a medical facility because he complained of feeling sick but was then brought back to a holding facility in Alhambra, near Los Angeles. Police were first alerted when they received a 9-1-1 call from inside Spector's Alhambra home at 5:02 a.m. (8:02 ET), Sheriff's Deputy Richard Pena said. One of Spector's neighbors also said she heard what sounded like "firecrackers" around 5 a.m.
Police records show Spector was arrested on suspicion of murder at 6:09 a.m. Homicide detectives arrived about an hour later. Police confirmed they found a gun. Spector's black Mercedes sedan, its driver's side door open, was encircled by yellow crime scene tape. Pena said six homicide detectives, specialists from the county crime lab and coroner's office processed the scene and gathered evidence from inside the home Monday afternoon, after they obtained a search warrant. Neighbor Susan Georgino said Spector's mansion was once a 28-room hotel. Another neighbor, Steve Morales, described Spector as "very quiet, other than maybe having a few parties." Prominent defense attorney Robert Shapiro told CNN he is representing Spector. Shapiro was part of football star O.J. Simpson's winning legal team in his 1995 murder trial ... Spector's trademark was the "Wall of Sound," the layering of instrumental tracks and percussion which underpinned a string of hits on his Philles label (named for Spector and his business partner, Lester Sill) in the early 1960s. The roaring arrangements were the heart of what he called "little symphonies for the kids" -- among them No. 1 hits like the Ronettes' "Be My Baby" and the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'." I had a sneaky
suspicion that when the major news media finally released the
victim's name, she would turn out to be an actress. Although five
months in advance of the July 2003 vector, it is likely that this is a PREDICTION
FULFILLED. Lana
Clarkson was shot to death, making this case similar to the
Rebecca Schaeffer and Barbara Colby slayings. However, Clarkson
was a blonde, not a brunette like the others on the above time
line, and the fact that both the murderer and the victim
are celebrities potentially makes this a major celebrity
murder case, bigger even than the OJ Simpson and Robert Blake
murders. Still, it is far too early in the investigation to know
exactly what happened and why. More details will emerge that will
clarify the exact relationship that existed between Spector and
Clarkson.

"We wait to have as many facts as possible before we make a ruling," he said. "That's absolutely normal."
Ms Clarkson had appeared in TV shows such as Knight Rider and The A-Team as well as several B-movies during her career. Police believe she met Mr Spector at blues club on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip, where she was working as a ticket collector, on Sunday night. According to the House of Blues, Spector also had been in the nightclub's VIP room, where Clarkson, 40, worked as a hostess ... A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department source said authorities are looking into when Clarkson and Spector met. Both were alone in Spector's mansion, according to the source, and Spector's driver who was outside heard shots fired and called 911. House of Blues spokeswoman Anjali Raval told CNN Wednesday that Clarkson began working for the company about three weeks ago as the hostess for the "Foundation Room," a private, members-only room that serves as both a restaurant and bar. Clarkson greeted patrons and showed them to their tables, as any restaurant hostess would, Raval said. Clarkson left after a night's work but Raval said she was not sure exactly when Clarkson left. COMMENT (2/9/03): What is the connection between astronaut Laurel Clark and actress Lana Clarkson? In a most bizarre dream I experienced on the morning of February 1, I believe I was warned about Lana Clarkson's murder -- by a mysterious dead woman in a funeral parlor. UPDATE (2/19/03): Unlike the Blake-Bakley murder, where we knew most all of the details during the first week or two, authorities have been strangely tight-lipped about this case. The major news media have not moved beyond the fact that Lana Clarkson was shot in the face, that Spector met her at the House of Blues, and that he is now claiming the shooting was an accident.

This murder, in some respects, is a repeat of the Rebecca Schaeffer/Theresa Saldana/Barbara Colby/Elizabeth Short slayings. Clarkson was shot like Schaeffer and Colby. Like Schaeffer and Short, she was killed believing her killer was someone who would further her career. On the other hand, this case bears some resemblance to the murder scenario discussed on the Madonna-Pamela Anderson Prophecy pages. The Natalie Wood profile, in particular, and the Modena quatrain regarding a conspiracy between a monk and an artist, come immediately to mind. Wood's suspicious death was treated as an accident. Lana Clarkson's mysterious murder is now being called an accident. And, although this was a murder and not a car crash, Lana Clarkson was a bottle blonde like Jayne Mansfield who, like Jayne, patterned herself after Marilyn Monroe. |
So, until the media one day put this case to rest, either in the trial phase or otherwise, here is what will pass as what happened that night, what has been compiled from a number of sources:
Lana Clarkson was lured by Phil Spector to his mansion with a promise of giving her a big break in her career. A few hours prior to meeting Clarkson at the House of Blues, Spector interviewed another unidentified woman who produced a resume at Dan Tana's restaurant. It is likely that Spector expected sexual favours in return for his help. The two either engaged in kinky sex or Clarkson refused to submit to his advances. Spector threatened Clarkson with a gun, something previous girlfriends have said was a common happening with Phil during or after lovemaking, and killed her in a drunken fit or by accident. Or, as suggested by Fox News television, Lana was "playing" with the gun and shot herself.
COMMENT (6/2/03): It is my conclusion that this tragedy should be linked only with the Schaffer/Saldana/Colby/Short slayings and not with the Madonna-Pamela Anderson prophecy. Clarkson was not anywhere near famous enough to be associated with the M-P prediction. Nor is there any strong relationship between her murder and any of particulars discussed in the M-P presentation. Therefore, the "monk and artist" news references below have been deleted for this reason.

around the world that an Israeli air strike in Syria on
what the Israelis said was a Palestinian training camp
could heighten already-strained tensions in the Middle
East. 
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak
earlier called on the U.S. to restrain Israel and
expressed concern the attack could presage a new cycle of
violence. "We condemn what happened today concerning
the aggression against a brotherly state under the
pretext that some organizations exist there,"
Reuters quoted Mubarak as saying in a joint news
conference with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. 
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia —
Dozens of people were injured in a string of blasts that
targeted Americans and other Westerners in the Saudi
capital of Riyadh late Monday and early Tuesday. A Saudi
hospital official told Reuters that an unspecified number
of Westerners and Saudis were killed. "Dozens of
people were wounded and they are being treated at some 10
hospitals," the official at the al-Hamadi hospital
told Reuters. "I am sure there are dead. They are
Westerners and Saudis."

were found in a bus parked off a highway, authorities

starred in the 1985 B-movie "Barbarian Queen"
and appeared in many other films, including "DeathStalker,"

Times at Ridgemont High" and the spoof "Amazon
Women on the Moon." Her Web site, www.lanaclarkson.com,
offered this message Tuesday: "Rest in peace,
beautiful lady. You were a star on Earth and now shine

BBC News - A gunshot to the face
killed B-movie actress Lana Clarkson, the woman found
dead at music producer Phil Spector's house, coroners
have revealed.
Police believe the murder weapon
was a handgun found on the floor of the house's foyer.
Other weapons were also seized during the search of Mr
Spector's mock-castle home. Prosecutors say they could
file murder charges against the producer as early as next
week.
Legendary hit
maker Phil Spector downed a bottle of champagne and two
potent cocktails with Lana Clarkson a few hours before
allegedly gunning down the B-movie actress, it was
reported today.
Robitaille said
Spector pointed a loaded gun at her to keep her from
leaving after sex, but "I don't know if he'd have
pulled the trigger. He was more scared of being left
alone." Another ex-girlfriend, Barbara Nichols, said
she experienced the same thing.

television reported that Clarkson was shot in the mouth
and speculated that erotic gun play may have occurred,
