POSTED (1/8/06): This is not a prediction, although I intend to make one based on the September 1999 earthquake that rocked Athens, killing 137 people and injuring thousands. It is possible that today's earthquake may be a repetition of that event, but if it is, it has resulted in much less damage and casualties. The question is whether this is a precursor for an earthquake to hit Greece later this year or the event itself. It is quite unusual for seismic events, in my experience, to be premature by this many months in advance (nine). It is not impossible, but it is unusual. Ergo, this is a base 7 warning as well as an alert. I will insist that another more catastrophic quake is likely to strike Greece around September 2006.

ATHENS, Greece (CNN) -- Search-and-rescue teams worked through the night to cut through mountains of broken concrete slabs, hoping to find scores of people believed trapped by a strong earthquake that struck the Greek capital on Tuesday. Digging with jackhammers, cranes and even garden tools, emergency crews sifted through piles of rubble while search dogs sniffed for survivors. Greece's Ministry of Health said at least 32 people were killed and more than 100 injured by the magnitude-5.9 quake.
More than 100 buildings collapsed, from apartment blocks to factories, most of them in working-class and immigrant areas north of Athens, where construction standards were apparently lower or contractors used shortcuts, some officials suggested. In one of the worst-hit areas, 160 people were believed trapped inside two collapsed factories. "Only a fraction of those people have been pulled to safety so far," journalist John Psaropoulos said.
The 10-second quake struck just before 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT) and was centered about 12 miles (20 kilometers) northwest of Athens. Thousands of frightened Athenians ran from swaying buildings into the streets, where chunks of concrete, glass and metal rained down from damaged buildings.
Several children were injured in a damaged kindergarten and taken to the hospital. None of the children was killed. Many more buildings in a heavily populated area of older apartment buildings were damaged. "The emergency crews are still digging through the collapsed buildings that have been reported," Psaropolous said. "But again it is very hard to talk about any number of injured or killed because ... they are obviously going to be working into the night. So there is no fixed figure on casualties."
The epicenter appeared to be located between the working-class suburb of Menidi and Mount Parnes, which is a national park and sparsely inhabited.
Strongest Greek quake since 1981
The quake also knocked out electricity and triggered traffic jams when traffic lights stopped working. Phone lines were clogged by people trying to locate friends and relatives. Cracks were reported in buildings in the historic district of Plaka at the foot of the Acropolis, but there was no word on any damage to the historic ruins of the Greek capital. "We had a very strong shock," said George Skordilis, a seismologist with the Athens Seismological Institute. "There has been aftershock activity but we can't make any forecasts."
On August 17, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake hit neighboring Turkey, killing more than 15,000 people. There was no clear connection with the Turkish quake, Skordilis said, but "we can say there is increased earthquake activity in the eastern Mediterranean."
Turkey, touched by Greece's liberal aid after its own disaster, which helped ease some of the tension between the two countries, offered condolences and whatever help it could give. "I wish to express the deep sorrow the Turkish people feel at the earthquake that took place today in Greece," President Suleyman Demirel said in a statement. "We profoundly feel and share the pain you have from the loss of life and property in today's earthquake because of the earthquake disaster we recently experienced," he said.
Foreign Minister Ismail Cem offered to give any help that was needed to deal with the impact of the quake, a ministry official said. Greek scientists told local media the quake was the strongest to hit Greece since 1981, when it was rocked by a tremor with a magnitude of 6.6.

earthquake struck southern Greece early Sunday afternoon,
rattling much of the country, according to the U.S. Geological
Survey. Officials in the island of Crete said three people were
injured.
The European and Mediterranean Seismological Center put the quake's epicenter about 22 kilometers (14 miles) east of the island of Kithira, 195 km (120 miles) south of Athens. USGS said the center was 38 km (23 miles) beneath the bottom of the sea. Witnesses in Athens said the quake rumbled for at least half a minute.
Bank manager Nikos Basdanis, 49, and his wife Vivi told CNN their home in Chania, Crete, shook and neighbors' light fittings fell from ceilings. "We were terrified. There was an awful noise and we took shelter under the dining table," said Nikos Basdanis. He added that the swimming pool at his apartment block was half emptied of water by the shock.
In the village of Mittata on the island of Kithira, government officials reported extensive damage -- 50 uninhabited buildings collapsed, as did one side of a church. Greece's Homeland Protection Force was on standby if needed. Aftershocks were expected.
Seismologists said if the quake had been centered closer to shore, the damage could have been catastrophic.
The earthquake occurred at 1:34 p.m. (1134 GMT) and was felt as far away as in Cairo, Egypt, about 1,200 kilometers (745 miles) southeast of the epicenter, as well as in Amman in Jordan, The Associated Press said. "It was a very powerful quake which shook all of Greece. There have been dozens of aftershocks, four with a magnitude of 5," said Athens Geodynamic Institute head Giorgos Stavrakakis. "The quake occurred deep undersea and that's what saved us."

NEW PREDICTION: 3/26/05 -- This is the window of opportunity for such a world leader to emerge. He may or he may not. It is also possible there will be more than one "Gorbachev."
This is a person who will turn everything around if he arrives. Just as Mikhail Gorbachev reversed the escalating trend towards nuclear war between the Soviet Union and the United States when another warrior president like George W Bush was in power (Ronald Reagan), and promoted a new era of friendship and cooperation between the two powers, this person will reverse the current trend towards a dreadful third world war.
There are four places where this person might arise: the Middle East, China/Korea, the United States, and Russia (again). Actually all four of these places need a Gorbachev-type figure.
Whether the world gets one, two, three, all four, or none, should be decided around March 2006. If the neo-Gorbachev phenomenon occurs, World War III will be postponed again -- just as it was in the 1980s and 1990s. If that happens, WW3 will not be in danger of starting until 2025.
But I must warn everyone: this vector could also mark the debut of the beast and false prophet of Revelation. Even though I do not believe this will happen for another 233 years, the windows of opportunity for an earlier advent will come time and again, some times giving us a Gorbachev, other times a Hitler, and if God decides the years shall be shortened ... it can happen now.
UPDATE (10/28/05): I should also have mentioned that if an "evil Gorbachev" came to power, he might not necessarily be the beast of Revelation, but he almost certainly would be one of the five remaining lesser antichrists of Nostradamus to come before the final one. The Iranian dictator Ahmadi-Nejad does not match the profile of the beast -- he reigns too far to the east. However, as I have discussed in my article PROPHETS DANIEL AND RIGORD OF ST. DENIS: THE 'FOURTH KING OF PERSIA' HAS COME TO POWER!, now to be found on VIEWPOINT, he is the antichrist from Persia prophesied by Daniel, Rigord, and Nostradamus. I also believe him to be the conqueror on horseback in the "first seal" of Revelation ... whose sole purpose is to conquer and to destroy!
When this man makes his move, the "final age" which I have been warning about in my book, Nostradamus and the Final Age (all 13 chapters not yet posted to this website), which is the same as "the latter days" and "the time of the end," shall begin! The prophetic age narrated in the Book of Daniel, Chapter 11 shall begin ... and the prophetic chronology of future events in the Book of Revelation shall begin ...
Still, there is time ... time yet for a real "Gorbachev of the Middle East" to emerge. The vector does not come to the full until March 2006. Nejad could do a complete turnabout and reverse the slide towards war, even world war. Stranger things have happened.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/4/05 -- The long-dreaded civil war finally breaks out in March 2006 between Kemalist sections of the Pakistani Army led by General-President Pervez Musharraf and the Islamic Jehadi forces loyal to Pakistani terrorist groups such as Lashkar-e-Toiba, new Taliban forces regrouping in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
The initial causes of the war will be a major escalation of terrorism by the Jehadis and by several large-scale massacres of Jehadi civilians ordered by Pervez Musharraf.
During the course of the war -- which will last until about December 2006 -- it becomes quite clear that Bin Laden is alive and well. American intervention to aid Musharraf will fail and the Karzai regime in neighbouring Afghanistan will fall to a new Taliban led, once again, by Mullah Omar.
During the course of the war Musharraf is overthrown by a leader with a white turban. This white turbaned leader might be Osama bin Laden or else an as of yet unknown Islamic Jehadi general or cleric.
Musharraf may or may not be assassinated, but will lose power by December 2006, if not before.

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf risks a collapse of his regime when he returns to Islamabad after his high-profile visit to the White House. Musharraf faces an Al Qaida-aligned intelligence and military that has decided to bolster Osama Bin Laden during the president's absence. Western intelligence sources said Musharraf has already accepted the dictates of the jihad clique in Islamabad. They said the president was forced to accept a government decision to cede authority over North Waziristan, the mountainous tribal region along the Afghan border, to Al Qaida and Taliban.

THE spectre of civil war loomed over Pakistan last night as paramilitary troop reinforcements were deployed across Karachi in an attempt to quell the violence that has plunged President Pervez Musharraf's regime into crisis. With almost 40 people killed, hundreds wounded and gun battles still being waged yesterday despite the troops' arrival, exiled opposition leader Benazir Bhutto accused the Musharraf regime of deliberately "creating civil war conditions" to provide an excuse to declare a state of emergency. As other political leaders joined Ms Bhutto in warning about the situation last night, there was a growing consensus that unless General Musharraf defuses the crisis over his attempt to sack Chief Justice Iftikhar Ahmed, the violence will escalate. Respected former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali warned of "a war-like situation", saying: "We must get rid of it as soon as possible or it can prove fatal." And Qazi Hussain Ahmad, president of the religious Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal party once allied to General Musharraf, attacked the military ruler, saying: "The solution to all crises lies in Musharraf's resignation." Most analysts in Pakistan believe General Musharraf retains the support of the military that brought him to power in a bloodless coup eight years ago. But that could change rapidly. The stunning ineptitude he has shown over his efforts to sack Justice Chaudhry has surprised even his detractors. But despite the violence in Karachi, there was no sign last night of General Musharraf being willing to compromise or take action to defuse the conflict. Setting himself against declaring a state of emergency, he said: "There is absolutely no requirement and absolutely no environment for taking such a drastic measure, so these undercurrents must stop. "There is no need for any drastic step at all. Let the Supreme Court decide in the interests of the state and absolute justice. Imposing a state of emergency makes no sense. The people of Pakistan are with me."
When Justice Chaudhry arrived on an early flight from his home in Islamabad on Saturday, he found the MQM had blocked all roads from the airport. Clashes then erupted between armed MQM militants and others, including Chaudhry supporters from Ms Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party, and spread throughout Karachi in the worst violence in the city since the 1990s. Witnesses said the 15,000 police on the streets did little to intervene. While government officials in Karachi were appealing for help, General Musharraf went ahead with an engagement to open a new power plant and address a rally of his supporters from the Pakistan Muslim League in Islamabad. After refusing to be taken to the Karachi High Court where lawyers were waiting to meet him, Justice Chaudhry agreed to board a flight back to Islamabad. The battle moves back to the Supreme Court in Islamabad today, with a full bench of judges hearing the charges of misconduct laid against the Chief Justice by General Musharraf, while lawyers across the country go on strike. The MQM has declared a day of mourning for its victims in the Karachi bloodbath, even though most of those killed and wounded were from the PPP. |
Karzai survives assassination attempt by Taliban
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- Taliban militants fired rockets near President Hamid Karzai in an apparent assassination attempt in central Afghanistan on Sunday, but the missiles fell far from their target and no one was hurt, officials and witnesses said. The assassination bid was one among a spate of attacks that killed at least 66 people, mostly militants, over the weekend in restive Afghanistan. Karzai was giving a speech to the elders and residents of Andar district in Ghazni province when rockets were fired nearby, said Ali Shah Ahmadzai, provincial police chief. No one was hurt, he said. Witnesses said they heard between three and six rockets, but the Taliban claimed it fired off 12. The rockets missed their target, with two of them landing some 220 yards (200 meters) away from the crowd, said Arif Yaqoubi, a local reporter attending the event. "Please sit down," Karzai told a nervous crowd under a tent in a school yard. "Don't be scared. Nothing is happening." Karzai finished his speech and his security detail whisked him off by helicopter to Kabul, witnesses and officials said. It was the third attempt on Karzai's life since he became president following the ouster of the Taliban regime in 2001. Purported Taliban spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi told The Associated Press that Taliban militants were behind the attack. "The Taliban knew that Karzai was coming to Andar district. When Karzai was meeting with the people, the Taliban fired 12 rockets," Ahmadi said by satellite phone from an undisclosed location. "The rockets fell nearby." Khial Mohammad, a Ghazni lawmaker also at the event, said during the speech "we heard the sounds of rockets whizzing over our heads" before slamming down in the distance.
NATO and Afghan troops clashed with militants and called in airstrikes Saturday, leaving 27 suspected Taliban dead in southern Zabul province, said Defense Ministry spokesman Gen. Mohammad Zahir Azimi. In another clash in Zabul, a gunbattle between NATO and Afghan troops and insurgents left 16 militants dead on Friday, a statement from Defense Ministry said. The reports could not be independently verified because the incidents occurred in remote areas. In Ghazni province, one Afghan soldier was killed and four others wounded when a roadside bomb hit their patrol Saturday, NATO said in a statement. After a winter lull, there has been a sharp spike in clashes and other violence this spring in Afghanistan. Some 2,200 people, many of them insurgents, have died in insurgency-related violence this year, according to an AP count based on numbers reported by the U.S., NATO, U.N. and Afghan officials. |
COMMENTS (6/13/07): This prediction is in two parts: one part is a Pakistani civil war which, technically, is in progress on an intermittent level. I still believe it is very possible Musharaff could be overthrown by next year and fundamentalist elements now fighting and demonstrating will take power. I suppose it is debatable as to whether a civil war is actually in progress, although it seems every other week the reports are that the nation is in a civil war or on the brink of civil war. Thus, I am still refraining from making any claim on this part of the prediction as being close or partially fulfilled. Also, as I have been warning on the 2007 (Part One) page, if Benazir Bhutto returns to Pakistan as planned between September and December and is there when this war escalates or the dictator is overthrown, she will probably either be assassinated or, more likely, arrested and executed (and executed in the same exact way as her father was: by hanging). She faces this grim fate either at Musharaff's hands or the hands of the fundamentalists.
The second part of this prediction concerns the overthrow of the Karzai government by the "new" Taliban. Quite obviously this indicates that an assassination of Karzai will be attempted or else his execution after the re-capture of Kabul. A deadly assassination attempt was made a few days ago during a rocket attack, but failed. Because of this, I must claim a CLOSE CALL on this part of the prediction. It was to happen in December 2006, so the event is six months late.

Darkness has fallen on the city now, but the fires in the complex that houses the mosque and the two religious schools are still burning. There are reports that nearly a hundred people have been killed today, but it is difficult to get too near the mosque since the area is now sealed off. Since last January a radical Islamist cleric, Abdul Aziz, and several hundred supporters (many of them armed) had been resisting the government. The land on which the mosque and its schools were built was, according to government sources, illegally occupied. The clerics insisted they had authorisation, but to divert attention from their land-grab they organised their students into vigilantes , kidnapped Shia women on the pretext that they were prostitutes, occupied a children's library and hurled an ultimatum at the government: all brothels, music shops were to be closed down immediately; all billboards that depicted women had to be removed and if the government refused a spate of suicide-bombers would make the city ungovernable. Abdul Aziz tried to escape yesterday disguised as a woman and covered from head to toe in a black 'burqa', but he was soon discovered and taken into custody. His brother Abdul Rashid refused to surrender and was reportedly preparing for martyrdom. Earlier, General Musharraf had calmly informed the jihadis that they had two choices: surrender or 'be killed'. Nearly a thousand men and women had surrendered over the last few days and today the killings began. We will not know the final outcome for a few days in terms of how many have died. What pushed the government was China's angry response to the killing of three Chinese workers on July 8th in the religious stronghold of Peshawar. Military intelligence reported that the militants who had carried out the killings were linked to the group in the Islamabad mosque. This coupled with the break-down of direct negotiations led to the final assault today. What is noticeable is that there is very little public support in the capital for the militants. Normally angry crowds gather to berate the driver of an official car when he has braked too late and hurt a bystander. But the crowds are silent, few have any sympathy with the militants. A young student, Mohammed Azhar, told me: 'I don't like anyone to die, but these guys are dangerous and putting our lives at risk. I have three sisters in medical college. A radical Islamist cleric who took hundreds of women and children hostage in a bid to force a Taliban-style regime in Islamabad, is dead. Pakistan's interior minister said 43-year-old Abdul Rashid Ghazi was killed during an attack by troops against the famous Red Mosque. He had refused to surrender, insisting he wanted to be a martyr to provoke an "Islamic revolution" in Pakistan. There is so far no news on the fate of the hostages he was holding as human shields. Ghazi, and at least 100 of his followers, had held government troops at bay for seven days. But when another round of negotiations failed overnight soldiers moved in. At least 50 militants and eight soldiers have been killed so far in day-long fighting, many more have been injured. One eyewitness inside the Mosque said there were bodies everywhere. The militants, who have vowed to fight to the last man, are armed with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons. Thousands of soldiers battled militant forces for more than 13 hours in the heart of Pakistan's normally sedate capital. Officials say the mosque's firebrand cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi was killed along with around 60 other militants. Hundreds of women and children remained unaccounted for following government warnings that many may have been used as human shields. Military spokesman Major-General Waheed Arshad said the mosque's gunmen were fully prepared and mounted a strong resistance, forcing a much longer than expected operation. "The militants are using all kinds of weapons," he said. "They have machine guns. They have rocket launchers. They have been using grenades."
The bloody standoff began last Tuesday after the mosque's radical students clashed with local security forces. Lal Masjid, or the Red Mosque, has been a well-known source of Islamic militancy and its supporters recently pushed to impose a strict Islamic law on the capital. In a written statement released Sunday, Ghazi said he hoped his death would spark a nationwide Islamic revolution in Pakistan.
Government officials say there were a number of foreign terrorists, including several with possible ties to al-Qaida, are inside the mosque. The standoff was widely regarded as a major political embarrassment for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, who is a key U.S. ally in the war against terror. Moderates accuse President Musharraf of allowing religious extremists to gain a powerful foothold throughout Pakistan. Those critics were largely silenced during this week's siege, but there are already fresh concerns that the capital's unrest could spark a much wider militant backlash in other parts of the country. |
COMMENTS (7/23/07): I have just noted the following clause in my Pakistan Civil War prediction: "The initial causes of the war will be a major escalation of terrorism by the Jehadis and by several large-scale massacres of Jehadi civilians ordered by Pervez Musharraf."
A massacre at the Red Mosque is exactly the type of trigger I had in mind and accurately reflects expectations in that clause. Those civilians and members trapped inside were "Jehadis." It may be that Musharraf will cause a few more of these before civil war erupts in ernest. Then again, recent suicide bombing attacks in the aftermath of the Red Mosque Massacre may be the start of this.

COMMENTS (9/22/07): Things are now beginning to shape up regarding the Pakistan prediction. Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf's handling of the seige at the Red Mosque in July has finally triggered Al Qaeda's declaration of war against his government. The Red Mosque event marks one of the most dreadful highlights of a sporadic civil war between jehadists and Musharraf secularists. Now comes the final chapter of my prediction, and I quote:
"During the course of the (civil)
war ... it becomes quite clear that Bin Laden is alive and
well. American
intervention to aid Musharraf will fail ... During the course of the war Musharraf is
overthrown by a leader with a white turban. This white turbaned
leader might be Osama bin Laden or else an as of yet
unknown Islamic Jehadi general or cleric."
Osama bin Laden finally demonstrated, visually and vocally, in two recently released videotapes, that he is indeed alive and very well and quite connected with current events happening over the course of the summer. Since Bin Laden was directly behind Ayman al-Zawahiri's remarks, it is clearly he who is personally declaring war on Musharraf and is also inciting Pakistanis to rise up against the government.
Recent remarks have also focused on the government in India (another prediction that appears on 2006 Part Three), indicating that Bin Laden is indeed the Nostradamian "white turbaned leader" who will eventually go to war with the "blue-turbaned king" (Prime Minister Manmohan Singh) over Kashmir.
But the first shots of this declared war must be fired and Musharraf overthrown before we can call this prediction completely fulfilled. However, enough has occurred in Pakistan since March 2007, including the Red Mosque seige, new violence, and now the official Bin Laden declaration of war, to make this a PREDICTION PARTIALLY FULFILLED.

NEW PREDICTION:
12/19/05 -- It is
not clear whether Sinead O'Connor is in danger of drowning during
a major flood or if she will be murdered during the time of a
major flood. She will try to escape the flood or her assailant,
but death will overtake her. The event will likely occur at her
home or at a very elegant house, a large mansion or estate, which
may belong to someone else.
The mention of death in line 2 suggests she will die and someone else will escape. Then again, mention of death may simply mean "danger of death."
The identity and gender of the person escaping in line 3 is unclear. It could be her killer or a new boyfriend (Sinead is currently divorced) who escapes through a previously unknown fireplace. Or, it may be that Sinead will escape drowning or murder via a discovered fireplace. A secondary meaning of "mantle" is that she will escape the house wearing only a large sleeveless garment.
The last line may be a dating for 2006: Nostradamus, for reasons we can only guess, considered 1905-06 to be the true start of the 20th Century ("a most strange century"). Likewise, 2005-06 could then be considered the true start of the 21st Century. The onset of 2006 will be governed by chance, according to Nostradamus. This means almost nothing predicted for this time in history has to happen ... it can be prevented or postponed.
Regarding the base 7 propsects for Sinead O'Connor, 2006 does not look good. So I tend to agree with this perspective of Presage 101. Her mother died in a car crash in 1985, seven years later, in 1992, her career was virtually destroyed when she ripped up a photo of the Pope on live television, and seven years after that, in March 1999, she attempted suicide by taking a massive overdose of Valium. Seven years after that takes us to March 2006. That, I fear, is when the danger will assert itself, although Sinead needs to exercise caution throughout the year.

(1/8/06): It appears that poor Sophie shaved her head
for the role of Sam, a bald lesbian entertainer in the film, RAW
FM. I don't know whether her death represents a warning to Sinead
O'Conner that I am on the right track or is a PARTIAL
FULFILLMENT. It could be a partial fulfillment because the
death of a famous bald female is the gist of the prediction,
however Sophie's baldness was only temporary and I have concluded
that death would be by murder, suicide, or by drowning as
suggested by Presage 101.
Therefore, it is quite possible that my projection of danger for a famous bald female ("Shaven Female") remains correct, and that the female is indeed singer Sinead O'Conner.
I still feel that Sinead remains in danger due to her great fame, her return, once again, to having a smooth-skinned bald head in November 2005 (and presumably still since), and due to the above-mentioned base 7 alignment with her suicide attempt in March 1999, the devastation she brought to her career by ripping up a photo of the pope on Saturday Night Live in 1992, and the death of her mother in a 1985 car crash.
Still, Sophie's relative fame as an actress, and a formerly bald one, may represent a partial fulfillment of the prediction.
NOTE: When I conducted a GOOGLE image search for "Sophie Heathcote" there was only one suitable photo of her as she appears now at the time of search. That appears on the Celebrity Deaths and Mishaps page. Two others, one lewd, could not be accessed without password. The rest of the photos that came up were of Sophie as the bald character "Sam." I do not consider this to be a mere coincidence. How often have I ever made predictions concerning bald women? NEVER.
Britney Spears Shaves Her Head, Gets Tattoos
COMMENTS (2/19/07): I caught the news about Britney shaving her head bald about the time it broke during the early morning hours. Britney is still in tremendous danger from herself due to the Child Star Commits Suicide prediction for May 2006. She could still be a late fulfillment of that, even though one calendar year late (an adjacent fulfillment). Although there were some close calls from Marie Osmond and Lindsay Lohan, what appears to be the suicide of Joe Pichler, and the giant splash in Asia that resulted from former child actress Yuni's (also U;nee's and U-Nee's) suicide, an actual Western/US fulfillment (ala Dana Plato which the prediction was based upon) never did happen.

I posted the following message on Godlike Productions forum (no one paid any attention though):
"This falls under the category of self-harming.
Even though the shearing away of the hair and the tattoos actually cause no real injury, it is a symbolic form of self-destruction and a very real form of self-abasement. We know this girl has issues right now, so she is not trend-setting. At age 25 she can still be impressionable too, if she thinks Anna Nicole committed suicide. If no one intervenes, she will be dead before March."
Well, I don't know if I might not have been a bit over-dramatic about her dying before March, but the possibility is there.
Somehow Anna Nicole's death doesn't seem like it will be the only tragedy of its kind this decade. The last American blondes who died young and tragically did so in the 1960s (Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, and Sharon Tate). Grace Kelly (Princess Grace of Monaco) died tragically in 1982, but by then she had long since stopped being identified with America. Natalie Wood died tragically and mysteriously in 1981; she wasn't blonde, but that need not matter once in a while.
In any event, America averaged two such tragedies each decade in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, until the 1950s when James Dean, the first blonde male, died and the lesser comedian actress Ona Munson (who was about as famous on the big screen during the 1930s and early 1940s as Shelley Long was to TV, I suppose) committed suicide. It almost seems that because there were not two major female blonde tragedies in the 1950s that the 1960s made up for it by having three.
Thus, given the uneventfulness of the 1970s and 1990s for America (Diana was English royalty and belonged to the world), I very much fear the 2000s have been building to what may well be a cluster of premature deaths of female celebrities associated with blonde hair ... a cluster of three or even four during 2007, or a cluster three or four over the last three years of the decade (2007, 2008, and 2009).
So, Britney is in danger from the Child Star Commits Suicide prediction. However, by shaving her head, she also places herself in the peril I believed might apply to Sinead O'Connor in March 2006. There is a quatrain to consider too:

Can't really say the rest of the quatrain makes much sence, though, other than the possible connexion between "running" and "death." The commas make it hard to say if they are linked. She could continue "running" from paparazzi, only to commit suicide (surrounded by an abundance of riches). When this happens there will be (or have been) a major flood and Britney will suffer some property damage?
Thus, by shaving her head, Britney may have imperiled herself twice over by qualifying for two seperate predictons.

NEW PREDICTION: 1/24/05 -- This prediction of mine was made much earlier on the Email Forum and on the Prophetic Messenger Forum, but I have only gotten around to posting it now. Flooding of the Mississippi splits the US mainland in half in March/April 2006 and July/August 2007. The Great Lakes empty into the Gulf of Mexico via this great "strait". It will be called the Great Midwest Strait.
From whatever cause, massive flooding in the Midwest in 2006 will be the first stage. The Midwest never completely recovers, but remains chronically flooded, possibly experiencing more flooding in the summer and fall. July/August 2007 will see the completion of the two-staged chronic flood where the Edgar Cayce prophecy will actually be fulfilled when the Great Lakes overflow into the Mississippi and a great watery divide splits the USA right down the middle.
UPDATE (4/16/06): A third and final vector exists for the "second stage flood": March/April 2008. If correct, this would entirely negate the March/April 2006 vector and make July/August 2007 the first stage of the flood and March/April 2008 the second and final stage.
Nevertheless, a 2006 watch must remain in effect through August 2006 before transferring this prediction to the 2007 and 2008 pages.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/31/04 (POSTED: 1/12/05) -- I believe the West Coast has had it. I am projecting a double shock for California in March and May of 2006. March will be at least an 8.0, if not a 9.0. May, forget it. It will be so powerful it will be off the scale (if such a thing is possible). That one should see the Edgar Cayce scenario play out, with parts of the West Coast falling into the ocean. Talk about a change in the map.
I suppose technically
what we will have here is a massive seismic event unfolding in
two parts: a huge quake -- the foreshock -- striking somewhere in
California, most likely in Los Angeles or San Francisco, in March 2006. It will be above
magnitude 8.0, maybe even a 9.0, leaving many people with the
feeling that this was the Big One, only to see a second
unprecedented earthshock strike two months later in May 2006. That one will make the
Indonesia quake seem like a mild jolt. It will be a 10 or
completely off the scale and, as Edgar Cayce predicts, it will
forever change the western coastline of the United States,
causing portions of the west coast to slide into the ocean. The
tsunami generated by this devastation will travel across the
Pacific, drowning many Asian coastal regions.
Like Nostradamus predicts, there will be much DARKNESS in the air in the wake of the May earthquake. The dust from thousands of demolished skyscrapers, expressways, and bridges, not to mention debris from the coast breaking off, will darken the sky with ash and dust that will creep eastward across the continent, turning broad daylight into twilight throughout America for about two days (NO, THIS WILL NOT BE THE "THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS" -- THAT WILL COME AT A MUCH LATER DATE ANDD FOR OTHER REASONS).
My one concern is whether or not this thing will happen prematurely and both quakes will go off in March and May of this year (2005) instead. I hope not. I'd like to think people will get a whole year (plus two months) to prepare.
COMMENTS (9/25/06): As most of you are aware, if there is more than one vector for an event, for example a second potential dating in another, later year, I usually post that when I make the projection for an event. In this case, I did not, because of the overwhelming base 7 data I felt I had before me regarding a "double quake" in 2006 AND due to events that began Christmas 2004 and continued throughout 2005, some of which I specifically predicted.
Before I reveal the second vectors for the "double quake" event, especially for those of you who understand the base 7 system I use, here is an explanation of why I chose 2006 over 2008. By the way, the vectors should have been April 2006 and June 2006, and not March 2006 and May 2006, but that hardly matters:
I used Sylmar 1971/the double quake of Joshua Tree and Landers 1992/and Hector Mine 1999 as my basis, operating on the belief that the Christmas Tsunami (December 2004) was not going to be an isolated event, but the first in a series of cataclysms. When Katrina and Rita hit in summer 2005, I felt I was even more right. Then when the major earthquake took place in Pakistan-India, exactly in the way I predicted although a few months late, I felt that sealed the decision once and for all. In addition, there was a large swarm of moderate quakes in California in June 2005 similar to a swarm in 1991 (if 1991 repeated in 2005, then it stood to reason that 1992 would repeat in 2006, so I stuck to my guns about the double quake happening this year). I suppose it is still possible my double quake scenario could happen during the September-November 2006 period (Hector Mine was most recent on the timeline, and it occurred in October 1999), but if it does, it probably won't be as bad as I illustrated. Probably no worse than San Francisco in 1989, maybe not even that bad.
February/March 2008 seems more likely to be the first superquake for California, I now think (based on Northridge 1994 and Seattle 2001). New Madrid Quakes may precede it or accompany it (this has not been posted yet). The second west coast quake will probably not be a quake at all but a SUPERVOLCANIC ERUPTION. The Mount St Helens eruption from May 1980 helps project the ERUPTION AT YELLOWSTONE as May 2008 ... resulting in the Great May Earthquake predicted by Nostradamus! This will be felt all over the world and will contribute to the flooding of many of the United States.
It more or less has to be this way if my dreams about 3/4 of the US being underwater before 2010 are to come true. Also, this must precede or accompany World War III ... and I cannot see WW3 in EUROPE happening any later than 2009/2010. Not only that, but an awful lot of bad climate, volcanic and seismic events, war events, and a nuclear 911 in NYC, appears scheduled for the same year: 2008. 2006, likewise, had some very bad potential ... and still does, but 2008 looks much, much worse.
Therefore, if this "double event" presented above for April 2006 and June 2006 doesn't occur tardily five months after the April 2006 vector, in September 2006, and within five months of the June 2006 vector, November 2006, the next date for a potentially destructive earthquake (which should have been included in this prediction) is February/March 2008, with a second massive "quake" actually being the supervolcanic eruption of Yellowstone in May 2008. There is another vector for October 2010, but I find that one quite unlikely since most of the major natural destruction to the United States, especially the vanishing of the West Coast beneath the ocean, must happen before the Russian-Islamic invasion of Europe which is dated as August 2009.
UPDATE (11/16/06): Nostradamus researcher Mark S. Cane sent me the following email. He believes it is still possible for the two major earthquakes I predicted for April and June 2006 to strike California this month or by the end of the year based on several dreams he and a friend have experienced concerning a tsunami from the west and then another from the south, and the recent transit of Mercury across the Sun. It also appears the Mercury transit may be one possible dating factor, among others, provided by Nostradamus for a West Coast shocker in November or December or at least for ushering in a period of intense seismic activity that will lead up to my projected "final" earthshock in February/March 2008 and Yellowstone's eruption in May 2008.
Now that the Japan tsunami has caused a 6-foot tsunami to strike the California coast (the 'wave from the west'), reportedly causing extensive damage, I feel it prudent to post this update as quickly as possible before the larger 'wave from the south' occurs. That may signal the time has arrived for at least one of two superquakes.
One other indicator in the Nostradamus material is a possible assassination of Pope Benedict XVI.

I have read with interest your prediction for a California quake, followed by the big one in 2006. I would like to add to the body of indicators for these shocks. I reside in Madera in Central California.
I have had dreams in which I see schools being evacuated. This may indicate a quake on a school day. I've also seen a sparsely attended Sunday church meeting. This may indicate a time in which people are unable or unwilling to enter buildings. A friend told me of her dream in which a large wave came from the West, then it was washed over by a larger wave from the South. From our geographical perspective, this could indicate a tsunami coming from off the coast of Central California, followed by a larger one from off the coast of Southern California.
I had another dream in March of this year in which I saw Mercury pass close to the Sun. I then lept over a sunken area on a walkway.
Mercury transited the Sun on November 8th. I wondered if this could be an astronomical indication that the shocks are coming, so I researched Nostradamus prophecies. Our prophet poetically describes the Mercury transit in two quatrains:
Mercury transits the Sun on November 8th. During November Venus is close to the Sun, and thus invisible due to the glare. Jupiter and Mars are also in the glare of the Sun. Mars, the warlike planet is probably the "hidden form" our prophet intended.
During a month when Venus and another planet, probably Mars are "covered" by the glare of the Sun, a transit by Mercury across the face of the Sun will "expose" the Pacific and North American tectonic plates to magma movement. These two great rocks will "insult" California with "warlike noise." In our prophet's time, what we now know as America, was called the "New Land." A city there would be described as a new city. Perhaps our prophet saw Los Angeles.
The new river will likely be reddened with volcanic sulfur. The best candidate for this may be Mammoth Mountain Volcano, at the headwaters of the San Joaquin River. A great flow passes over the concrete dams (hollow mountains) along the path of the river and floods Fresno, the agricultural capital of the San Joaquin Valley.
The waters of the peaceful Pacific ocean are disturbed. We are unprepared for a natural disaster that dwarfs all previous events. Famine ensues. The sea reddens with sulfur. Osama Bin Laden is preparing an attack.
Our prophet sees Al Queda's spy is preparing an attack against the Pope as the West suffers quake and tsunami.
The Heavens cry rain for the Pope's imminent death. Denis is a form of Dionysius, the God of wine. His soaking is a restatement of P.9's vine-soaking. The fleet off the California Coast sounds the tsunami warning too late to be of much help. Hannibal, Osama Bin Laden is preparing his tricks to attack the Pope.
There isn't a reliable timing clue. It seems the month of November is indicated, following Mercury's transit on the eighth. There is, however a possibility in a Presage:
In an earlier quatrain, Mars, the warlike planet represents the warring of the tectonic plates. This may indicate the date when Saturn and the moon are conjoined. For November they meet on Monday, the 13th.
We must hope that these interpretations are not realized. The scale of suffering would be unimaginable. All we can do is prepare, the rest is in God's hands.

On the morning of April 26, 1999, Jill Dando left the home of her fiancé, Alan Farthing, and returned to her house in Gowan Avenue, Fulham, West London. As she reached her front door at about 11.30 a.m., she was shot in the side of the head at close range with a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Jill Carroll is a 28-year-old freelance writer on assignment for the Christian Science Monitor. She was kidnapped January 7 in western Baghdad. Kidnappers are threatening to kill her unless the United States releases all female Iraqi prisoners within 72 hours. seems to be genuine, says the Foreign Office. "We now
believe that she has probably been murdered", Foreign
Secretary Jack Straw said after analysing the tape.
Her Iraqi husband, Tahseen Ali Hassan, has made a plea for her body to be returned to him "to rest in peace".
Mrs Hassan, who has Irish, British and Iraqi nationality, was seized by an unknown group in the Iraqi capital on 19 October.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair sent his sympathy to Mrs Hassan's family, saying he "shared their abhorrence" at her treatment.
And Bertie Ahern, the Irish Republic's Prime Minister, said her kidnappers "stand condemned by everyone throughout the entire international community".
Arabic TV news channel Al Jazeera has said it has had a copy of the videotape for several days but has chosen not to broadcast it.
The video apparently shows a militant firing a pistol into the head of a blindfolded woman.
A spokesman for Al Jazeera said he presumed the woman was Mrs Hassan ...

Sydney - The mutilated body of a Caucasian woman found in the Iraqi city of Fallujah earlier this week appears to be that of missing aid worker Margaret Hassan, Australian Prime Minister John Howard said on Thursday.
Howard told parliament that there was every indication that Hassan was also the woman who appeared in a video received by Al-Jazeera Tuesday showing an armed man shooting at a blind-folded woman.
"The body found in Fallujah appears to have been Margaret's and the video of the execution of a Western woman appears, on all the available information, to have been genuine," Howard said.
The body of a blonde-haired woman with her legs and arms cut off and throat slit was found on Sunday lying on a street in Fallujah, a notorious Iraqi enclave for hostage-takers.
Hassan, 59, head of Care International's Iraq operations, was seized in Baghdad on October 19 while on her way to work. She was married to an Iraqi, held British, Irish and Iraqi citizenship.
Howard extended his sympathy to Hassan's family over the "despicable" killing.
"The inhumanity of Margaret Hassan's killers passes description. Such people are to be condemned without the slightest hesitation or qualification," he said.

The Jill Carroll abduction may be resolved one way or another, hopefully for the best, in April 2006. If Jill Carroll is released unharmed, the Jill Dando influence could still be in danger of claiming the life of a British or American television presenter, anchorwoman, or TV journalist. April 2006, again, is the dangerous month, but the base 7 influence will likely last throughout the year.

"Anyway, I am very familiar with the Jill Dando case. It was all over the Internet when I logged on the worldwide web for the first time. I have articles still downloaded on my computer. And I agree -- she did look something like Countess Sophie of Wessex. As to the Veronica Geurin case -- that one I missed.
The problem with the Dando case is that it happened in February 1999. She was killed before I even knew who she was. Using base 7, isn't it obvious to everyone that the best that can be done right now is to project ahead to a potential murder of another female British journalist or, perhaps television presenter, sometime in 2006 or 2013?
As to being able to determine who might be most in danger (a "personality" profile that compiles and compares ages, hair colour, physical characteristics, career ups and downs, romantic relationships or marriages, name sounds, etc.) and if such a danger is more likely in 2006 rather than 2013 or 2020, I would need to know if there were OTHER similar murders of female celebrities in the UK in 1992, 1985, 1978, 1971, 1964, 1957, and 1950.

NOTE: The obvious correction is that the murder occurred in April 1999 and not in February 1999. Since 2002, I have also considered the possibility that an American could be in danger instead this time around. Now there is another "Jill" in danger ... Jill Carroll. But, as I have already said in the projection above, I wouldn't rule out a television personality like Jill Dando being in danger before the end of the year.

Plane plot involved 'explosive cocktail,' official says -- Air travel in chaos after plot to bomb airliners exposed
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Terrorists were in the "final stages" of a plot to simultaneously blow up as many as 10 jets leaving Britain for the U.S., sending the planes and thousands of passengers into the Atlantic Ocean, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said Thursday. British and Pakistani authorities teamed up to thwart the attacks, and 24 men were arrested in overnight raids in Britain, authorities said. An undercover British agent infiltrated the group, giving the authorities intelligence on the alleged plan, several U.S. government officials said. The men had not bought plane tickets, the officials said, but they were in the process of perusing the Internet to find flights to various cities that had similar departure times. Two of the suspects recently traveled to Pakistan and later received money wired from there, senior U.S. government sources said. Among those arrested were a Muslim charity worker and a Heathrow Airport employee with an all-area access pass, according to Britain's Channel 4. The suspects were planning to stage a test run within a couple of days, said a U.S. intelligence official. The suspected terrorists had been under surveillance in Britain since last December, Channel 4 reported. A senior congressional source said it is believed the plotters planned to mix a British sports drink with a gel-like substance to make a potent explosive that could be ignited with an MP3 player or cell phone. The sports drink could be combined with a peroxide-based paste to form a potent "explosive cocktail," if properly done, said a U.S. counterterrorism official. "There are strong reasons to believe the materials in a beverage like that could have been part of the formula," the official said. As many as 50 people were involved in the plot, an internal Department of Homeland Security document said, and raids continued in Britain late Wednesday. While other arrests were possible, British Home Secretary John Reid said that "police are confident that the main players are accounted for." Information gathered after recent arrests in Pakistan convinced British investigators they had to act urgently to stop the plot, sources said. Authorities immediately banned all passengers headed to or departing from U.S. airports from carrying any liquid in their carry-ons. COMMENTS (8/12/06): No question as to the genuinely horrific nature of this terrorist plot. It would have been as bad as September 11 if not thwarted. A whole day of continuous television coverage regarding this event leaves no room for doubt that a second attack on the UK was indeed planned for this year. Still, all we can say here is that this is another case of PREDICTION OVERKILL (where the prediction is a THWARTED PREDICTION). Yet, it is also something much worse since the planes were to fly to the United States ... and it is not altogether certain when some of these planes were to be blown up.

Only luck led to the disarming of the first device inside a metallic green Mercedes. Police said it was capable of causing severe casualties and was to have been detonated remotely, most likely by a mobile phone. Counter-terrorism officials said the device - made up of 60 litres of petrol, several propane gas cylinders, nails and a detonation mechanism - was similar to those used by al-Qaida in car bomb attacks in Iraq. The second device, containing similar materials, was issued with a parking ticket in the early hours of the morning before being towed to an underground car park at the Hyde Park end of Park Lane in central London. Officials were bracing themselves for possible further bombing attempts. Images from Glasgow airport showed the SUV-type vehicle ablaze next to the terminal building. Police and witnesses described an SUV-style vehicle in flames being driven at full speed towards the building. Two people were arrested at the scene, police said in a statement. It was not immediately clear whether there were any injuries, although unconfirmed witness reports described a man on fire at the scene. Images showed black smoke and flames rising from the vehicle just outside the building. Witnesses said the car crashed into security barriers protecting an entrance to the airport's international arrivals terminal. Jim Manson said he saw a car "with a couple of guys in it trying to push their way into the airport terminal building." The vehicle "suddenly caught fire" as one of the two -- himself on fire -- tried to open up the back of the car, Manson told British television. There was then a mini-explosion and the front of the terminal appeared to catch fire. "Everyone just ran," Manson said. "We're absolutely terrified, you can imagine. The first thing on all our minds was: Is there an accident? Is there a terrorist attack?" COMMENTS (6/30/07): Last year's failed attempt by terrorists to blow up ten passenger jets taking off from the UK and heading for the US would have been the worst such attack since 9-11. That event alone made this a "thwarted prediction." However, yesterday's and today's events are as remarkable. Had the two bombs not been discovered and diffused in London yesterday, the loss of life would have been as great or greater than what occurred on July 7, 2005. However, today's event in Glasgow actually does qualify as a terrorist attack despite the fact that only the terrorists themselves were harmed. Authorities now fear more attacks and will be right surprised if they don't happen ... thus the threat level has been raised to critical. Whether anything else happens or not, the events of the last two days, two diffused car bombs and one SUV crashed into an airport terminal, togther qualify as a PREDICTION FULFILLED, albeit a year late. And this may well be only the beginning.
We must also watch and see if additional attacks that may materialise are being carried out by Islamic and other citizens living within the UK. Because if this should prove to be true, then today's event, along with any to follow, would fulfill my prediction for civil unrest breaking out in London and other cities in the UK in May 2007 (see 2007 Part One), although this would have to look more like the spontaneous terrorism of the French riots in 2005 and 2006 than terrorist acts methodically carried out by cells inside Britain linked to groups like al Qaeda. Today's attack in Glasgow, at the moment, is not being treated as homegrown unrest but rather as an al Qaeda terror cell linked to other cells in Poland and Germany that failed to follow through with their operations. We should note that there is an April 22, 2007 link to a news report below where al Qaeda announced that they were planning a 'big British attack.' Today and yesterday may have been this planned attack ... or part of it. Time will tell.

COMMENTS (4/27/06): The Al Capone Restaurant is normally frequented by many Westerners, including Americans. Even the name, Al Capone, is taken from an infamous American gangster from the 1920s and 1930s. Although there were only four Americans nearby when terrorists struck, there is no question that it was intended that a larger number of casualties might be inflicted on US civilians than actually were. Because of the timing, which is exact to the April 2006 vector, I am concluding this attack on the Al Capone Restaurant in Dahab, Egypt to be a PREDICTION FULFILLED.

A report from the National Enquirer claims that Marie Osmond tried to commit suicide, but her rep, Amy Hawkes, told the Associated Press Wednesday that she was placed in the Utah hospital for a bad reaction to medication, not because of any suicide attempt. "We deal with those tabloids all the time," Karl Engemann, Osmond's manager, told the AP. "You get tired of responding. It's like punching Jell-O." The rep added, "She basically had an adverse reaction to some medication she was taking and she blacked out." According to TMZ Hawkes went as far as to confirm that Osmond spent two days in Timpanogos Regional Hospital, but disputed a report in the Aug. 14 issue of the Enquirer that Osmond, depressed over family problems, intentionally swallowed two bottles of pills and scribbled a suicide note with lipstick on her bathroom counter. The tabloid said the drugs involved were Adderall, used for Attention Deficit Disorder, and Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug. Hawkes declined to confirm that those were the drugs involved. People reports that Osmond has been candid about her emotional struggles in the past. COMMENTS (8/15/06): Marie Osmond certainly was a child star ... and one of the most famous. There is debate as to whether what appears to have been an overdose of Klonopin and Adderall actually happened or not. There are furious denials from Marie Osmond's representatives and from Ms Osmond herself that her hospitalisation was due to a suicide bid. One need only look back to 2004, however, and recall the endless denials and futile cover-up efforts when news broke that actress Shelley Long attempted suicide via drugs overdose. In the end it was confirmed that Long had tried to kill herself and her photos and story now appear in some suicide prevention websites. So, this seems like de ja vu all over again. In any event, one way or another, this prediction is definitely a CLOSE CALL.

That’s that startling allegation in the new issue of the National Enquirer, which claims Lohan was rescued by a doctor after she overdosed on Nov. 12. The Enquirer reports that a friend of the 20-year-old actress found her unconscious in a “drug-filled” room at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. According to the tabloid, the physician who revived Lohan found “a stash of cocaine and a pile of prescription drugs” in the room. An Enquirer source claims the doctor allegedly flushed the cocaine down the toilet and collected seven different prescription drugs. Lohan has been living for about a year at the Chateau Marmont. Last week, the Enquirer reported that she moved out after a dispute with management. Recent reports have also accused the star of self-mutilation after she was photographed with scrapes on her lower arms. Her publicist issued a denial, claiming Lohan “took a tumble into a bush.” At the World Music Awards in London earlier this month, Lohan reportedly stumbled off stage, flubbed her lines and gave up her hosting duties before the show was over. Lohan was hospitalized in 2004 for, according to her publicist, “an undiagnosed illness.” In January, the star spent time in the hospital after she reportedly suffered an asthma attack. In July, she was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment of “heat exhaustion.” |

The grandmother, identified as Lee, reported the case to police right after she found the body upon returning home from church. The news struck her fans by surprise especially because Yuni was scheduled to release her third album today and to make a music video. COMMENTS (1/25/07): I can see right now that U-Nee's hanging death is going to have the exact same impact on her fans throughout Asia as did the February 2005 suicide of South Korean actress Lee Eun-ju. What began as a single report has now evolved into a seismic wave of obituary articles.
U-Nee's career began at age 15 as a TV actress and sometimes film actress. This makes her a child star. As the prediction specifies, she began in childhood or adolescence (early-to-mid adolescence in her case), and has been both an actress and, since age 23, a pop singer. The prediction allowed for both. For Asia, U-Nee is a South Korean version of Britney Spears, being only a year older than Spears (25) when she killed herself (26).
This is not merely another close call. It is a PREDICTION FULFILLED, dwarfing the significance of Lindsay Lohan's and Marie Osmond's drugs overdoses. Hanging, for whatever reason, seems to have become the suicide method of choice since 2005 for a growing number of female Asian actors, singers, and models between the ages of 20 and 43.

COMMENTS (2/19/07): I caught the news about Britney shaving her head bald about the time it broke during the early morning hours. Britney is still in tremendous danger from herself due to the Child Star Commits Suicide prediction for May 2006. She could still be a late fulfillment of that, even though one calendar year late (an adjacent fulfillment). Although there were some close calls from Marie Osmond and Lindsay Lohan, and the giant splash in Asia that resulted from former child actress Yuni's (also U;nee's and U-Nee's) suicide, an actual Western/US fulfillment (ala Dana Plato which the prediction was based upon) never did happen.

Even though the shearing away of the hair and the tattoos actually cause no real injury, it is a symbolic form of self-destruction and a very real form of self-abasement. We know this girl has issues right now, so she is not trend-setting. At age 25 she can still be impressionable too, if she thinks Anna Nicole committed suicide. If no one intervenes, she will be dead before March."
Well, I don't know if I might not have been a bit over-dramatic about her dying before March, but the possibility is there.
Somehow Anna Nicole's death doesn't seem like it will be the only tragedy of its kind this decade. The last American blondes who died young and tragically did so in the 1960s (Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, and Sharon Tate). Grace Kelly (Princess Grace of Monaco) died tragically in 1982, but by then she had long since stopped being identified with America. Natalie Wood died tragically and mysteriously in 1981; she wasn't blonde, but that need not matter once in a while.
In any event, America averaged two such tragedies each decade in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, until the 1950s when James Dean, the first blonde male, died and the lesser comedian actress Ona Munson (who was about as famous on the big screen during the 1930s and early 1940s as Shelley Long was to TV, I suppose) committed suicide. It almost seems that because there were not two major female blonde tragedies in the 1950s that the 1960s made up for it by having three.
Thus, given the uneventfulness of the 1970s and 1990s for America (Diana was English royalty and belonged to the world), I very much fear the 2000s have been building to what may well be a cluster of premature deaths of female celebrities associated with blonde hair ... a cluster of three or even four during 2007, or a cluster three or four over the last three years of the decade (2007, 2008, and 2009).
So, Britney is in danger from the Child Star Commits Suicide prediction. However, by shaving her head, she also places herself in the peril I believed might apply to Sinead O'Connor in March 2006. There is a quatrain to consider too:

Can't really say the rest of the quatrain makes much sence, though, other than the possible connexion between "running" and "death." The commas make it hard to say if they are linked. She could continue "running" from paparazzi, only to commit suicide (surrounded by an abundance of riches). When this happens there will be (or have been) a major flood and Britney will suffer some property damage?
Thus, by shaving her head, Britney may have imperiled herself twice over by qualifying for two seperate predictons.

COMMENTS (2/23/07): This was what I was afraid I would be seeing in the news. Somebody has to help this girl before it is too late ... and if that help ends up taking the form of just leaving her the hell alone, then so be it. I am all too glad to say CLOSE CALL on this and not "fulfilled."
Look, I don't know the precedent for Britney's troubles based on the behaviour of past celebrities, but I suspect, given her deep rage (see photos on news links for her attack on the photogtaphers' SUV with an umbrella), her recent withdrawal from her career to be married and have children, her hatred of the media for not leaving her alone, that this is NOT another Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, or Anna Nicole Smith.
She is another Frances Farmer. Like the blonde Hollywood actress of the 1930s who decided she no longer wanted to be an actress or famous and, as a result, was forced into one mental institution after another for her "crazy" behaviour, left vulnerable to be raped by orderlies and drunken American soldiers, and ultimately lobotomised, I think this is a woman that needs her own space to make her own decisions on what she wants to do without the media and us scrutinising every move she makes. Let her get drunk and go on drinking binges. This is normal behaviour when one has suffered from some bad relationships and is now divorced. It is part of the grieving process. We don't just grieve for those who have passed on ... we go through a similar process too when relationships and marriages fall apart. It is normal and it is usually temporary (six months to two years on average). She is NOT an alcoholic: she is a young binge drinker with a good reason for binging. And I believe she was in real pain from her hair extensions, her hair was probably completely fried and falling out in places, sure she was crying in her limo waiting to go in and have her head shaved with the damned photographers waiting outside the salon. I'm sure she did not want to be seen. She was just starting over from scratch.
Maybe it is better that Britney not be the next Marilyn Monroe. I mean, look what happened to Marilyn Monroe (and look what happened to Anna Nicole). Maybe it would have been better for Marilyn Monroe if she had never become famous. Maybe Elvis Presley would have been better off pumping gas the rest of his life. Celebrity is not for everybody. Sure, the landscape would not have been as wonderful without these doomed icons, but there are always going to be other people who can handle fame. Give those folks a chance and stop forcing celebrity down the throats of those who cannot handle it.
As for Keven Federline, Britney is better off without him. He has the personality of a pimp and is just using Britney's fame to get famous himself. He is a no-talent whoremaster ... and if anyone is a danger to Britney it is that jerk. COMMENTS (3/6/07): First of all, if you have really looked this entire presentation over from the very top you should now feel about as creeped out as I do. If not, allow me to direct your attention to the very top collage beneath the title of this prediction, Child Star Commits Suicide. If you look closely you will see, at left, Britney Spears bedecked only in silver beads and white pearls, shaking her blonde hair, her eyes shut. Now that you have seen it, and noted that the date of the prediction (and the collage) is December 16, 2005, do not the most recent reports seem at all too much to be a mere coincidence? How weird can weird get??
Britney Spears, the focus of the collage, has made her first serious attempt at suicide: by hanging. Allegedly there were also two half-hearted attempts at suicide the previous week. Now Brooke Shields, the subject of the right portion of the collage, looking on at the unfolding drama of Britney's meltdown, has publicly offered her help to get Britney through her crisis which many still believe may be due to postpartum depression.
The case of Britney Spears is already a Close Call. The trouble is that this "Close Call" continues to get closer every day. Is it possible to keep Britney Spears from becoming a Prediction Fulfilled? Already the collage at top is as close to being fulfilled as close can get. Even the entrance of Brooke Shields is now in place.
I would also like to say that if Madonna has tried to elevate female celebrity to the status of goddess with her crucifix antics, Britney has reversed the trend and shattered the very concept of modern celebrity altogether by showing all of us just how crazy, vulnerable, fallible, and in need of help and real friendship many of these people truly are. How many of these people have gone off the deep end but done so in secret?
By shaving her head Britney has also temporarily marred her natural beauty and equalised her appearance so that anyone can identify with her in her plight. In her rage she could be male or female, young or not so young. Her past weight problems also show us how such classic beauty as hers could one day be easily destroyed by obesity or morbid obesity. How many average, everyday people wish the "real me" were visible but cannot be because of a stubborn genetic flaw that afflicts 1 in every 10 of us? How many other average, everyday people hate the obese and morbidly obese because they think everyone should look perfect (like a celebrity)?
By screaming "I am a fake!" she shows she understands the illusion of celebrity: that nearly all celebrities are fakes! Celebrity is an illusion that way too many of "us" covet every day. "I am the Antichrist!" and the number 666 written on her bald head. At last Britney reads her Bible and discovers how horrible this destiny will be for the true beast of Revelation when he comes. How many of us as troubled teens or young adults, unhappy for many reasons, perhaps rejected by a steady girlfriend or boyfriend, or left standing at the alter by a fiance or fiancee, and feeling genuinely persecuted, read that chapter and for at least one frightening moment thought we at last understood why our lives had become so miserable? It must be that God is punishing me "because I am the beast." This is a very frightening, yet amazingly, common phobia that (thankfully) usually goes away by itself.
All of Britney's troubles can be resolved with expert counselling and group therapy as bizarre as they might appear. I mentioned earlier that Britney may be our modern Frances Farmer in that, perhaps, fame is not what she really needs. The multi-talented lady of the 1930s discovered, in time, that her real ambition in life was to be just like everyone else. But Hollywood wouldn't allow it, her mother wouldn't allow it, and the public wouldn't allow it ... and they destroyed Frances Farmer inch by inch until her dismal death from cancer finally arrived in 1970. Let us hope Britney is allowed to realise her real dreams in life, whatever they might be.

COMMENTS (6/13/07): This is crazy! There was only supposed to be one former child star committing suicide between May 2006 and December 2007 and so far there have been six serious attempts by four different female celebrities that first became famous as child stars. One of these attempts proved fatal: for former TV actress and later pop dance music singer U-Nee who succeeded in hanging herself. Britney's own hanging attempt and Lindsay's drugs overdose and slit wrists attempts have been so serious that, without intervention, neither one of them might be alive right now. Worse, Lindsay is not only a danger to herself ... but to others as well! Yet another CLOSE CALL.

NEW PREDICTION: 1/20/06 -- A US passenger jet will be hijacked, perhaps in Greece or Italy, and used as a weapon to destroy a target in the United States much in the same way as the Twin Towers attack in 2001. Perhaps more than one airliner will be involved. This will happen, if it does, around June/July 2006. This will be considered the second worst terrorist attack on US soil since 9-11. UPDATE (4/1/06): I have discovered certain patterns using the base 7 system that might help pinpoint more exactly the times of events. Perhaps I may even be able to do away with the "lag" that often occurs.

In any event, the following warning now goes out for this terrorist prediction. There are two possible dates during which the next 911 may occur.
Many of you may be familiar with my "four factor": In August 2003 I noted that "half of 7 is 3.5, but I find that rounding up to 4 years to 4 years 7 months gives us some help in isolating the problem of specific action and location." I would expect this to be the case, however, only in extremely major human events. Going a step further and applying this strategy to 911 (9/11/01), and adding 4 years, 7 months, 7 weeks, and 7 days we would have a date of June 6, 2006 (6/6/06).
The viewer provides an alternative dating: 9/11/01 plus 911 days equals 3/3/04 (the date of the Madrid bombings). He postulates that adding 911 to 3/3/04 will give us the date of the 911-type event: September 9, 2006 (9/9/06).
UPDATE (5/3/06): I fear the
attacks will be once again in NYC and Washington. This time, I am
leaning in the direction of the Capitol Building
being attacked. I thought this might happen last year, but this
year seems more like it, especially with all the videotapes that
have been released by Bin Laden, Al Zawahiri, and Musab
Al-Zarqawi.
I still think chemical agents or gas may also be used in Washington DC at the same time an airliner crashes into the building (the Capitol) that will take out most of the US government if it is in session during the attack. This is a very frightening scenario, and may happen on (6/6/06) as mentioned in the update above.

Although this terrorist plot was aimed at the UK, seemingly, all ten airliners were en route to the United States. No question as to the genuinely horrific nature of this terrorist plot. It would have been as bad as September 11 if not thwarted. A whole day of continuous television coverage regarding this event leaves no room for doubt.
Although speculation is that the planes would have been blown up over the ocean, that is not certain. What if some of these planes were to be exploded when they reached the United States? No one is absolutely sure about this nor can it be ruled out.
It is even possible that, upon reaching the US, a few planes would have been hijacked and smashed into buildings and landmarks in NYC or Washington DC again. I would also point out that some of the ten airliners involved were American besides, thus this planned attack was aimed at American as well as British passengers and planes.
I correctly predicted another 9-11 involving airliners. That is clear. And it can also be said that this prediction would appear to have been successfully thwarted, thus a THWARTED PREDICTION. As usual, I was in the ballpark with this one and not specifically correct about the dating which was June/July 2006.
An update for a more specific September 9 dating by a viewer should not be discarded yet. We have been told that some of the terrorists are still at large and also that the scheduled date for the attacks was August 16. Thus, this prediction could still be fulfilled if we are not careful. There can be no arguing that the danger existed for this vector, as predicted.

POSTED: 5/19/05 -- This is a new feature I am adding to these pages that I should have done long ago. These quatrains, dated by the planets, may or may not have anything to do with the events of 2006. They are quite disturbing to say the least. However, three of them are repetitive in that the conjunctions occur again at later dates. Because of this, they may not be fulfilled until much later than 2006.

At first glance, this quatrain appears quite frightening in its imagery. The "great place" that "burns with heat" may be an entire country or region. One could quite easily visualize these lines describing an horrendous air campaign, a nuclear attack, or a Fuel Air Explosive bombardment. The "hot winds" only serve to amplify the horror of a nuclear or FAE attack. The "wars" may reflect the fact that while this is going on there will be major conflicts elsewhere: in the Balkans, the Middle East, the Pacific, and in the former Soviet Union. The "incursions" or "raids" indicate acts of terrorism escalating globally.
Much worse, the "great place" may be a nuclear-targeted United States. The "secret fires" which ignite the burning "heat" and "hot wind" may be the one hundred suitcase-sized nuclear devices the late general Alexander Lebed warned were missing from the Russian arsenal on October 1, 1997. Thus, this could be a horrible Muslim terrorist or clandestine Russian operation against America, courtesy of the fundamentalist dictatorship in Iran or Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. "Secret fires" on the other hand may render this reading as a surprise nuclear missile attack against the United States by Russia and China who have "secretly" planned the attack for sometime, perhaps to coincide with a war involving North Korea or Taiwan. It could also be a nuclear strike against Syria by Israel if missiles containing deadly VX are launched against Tel Aviv -- an event prophesied in Jeremiah and Isaiah. Regarding this last possibility, the Bible Codes allegedly link Syria's "Assad" to "Armageddon," "Gog," and "2006."
However, I suspect the "secret fires" may have an alternative interpretation: one which is natural rather than man-made. Perhaps in June/July 2006 a massive, super-volcanic or Krakatoa-type volcanic eruption will occur somewhere along the Pacific Rim ("the Ring of Fire"), triggering off a series of other eruptions. This could even be the dreaded super-eruption of Yellowstone.
There may also be a dreadful apparition in the heavens accompanying these wars, terrorist attacks, and the great nation plagued by "intense heat" (nuclear, volcanic, or other cause). The long trajectory is likely a comet, but could also be a reference to ICBMs being launched and their "long" path in space to reach their targets.
The astrological dating in the first line is a recurring one. It last occurred in April 1998 according to astrologer Dan Oldenburg. I have no information at this time about when -- or if -- it will occur again after Nelson's dating of June/July 2006.

The violence in
Karachi erupted after supporters of the pro-Musharraf
Mohajir Quami Movement organised a demonstration to
protest against Justice Chaudhry's visit to the city. The
MQM represents the the mohajirs -- those who migrated
back to Karachi when the sub-continent was partitioned by
the British in 1947. Like 60 per cent of Karachi
residents, General Musharraf is from a mohajir family.

In northwestern
Afghanistan, meanwhile, militants attacked three separate
police posts Saturday in Murghab district of Badghis
province, sparking a six-hour battle that left 20
suspected Taliban and two officers dead, said provincial
police chief Gen. Mohammad Ayub Naizyar. Police repelled
the attack and sent reinforcements to the area, forcing
the militants to withdraw, Naizyar said.
The siege of the
mosque has been going on for over a week, but today the
military struck. It has been a violent confrontation with
both sides firing on each other indiscriminately. It
started during the early hours today with the military
now determined to brook no further resistance. There has
been sporadic gunfire the whole day and over fifty
Islamic militants and a dozen soldiers lie dead. I saw
several militants, their faces covered with blood-soaked
cloth, raising their hands and surrendering to the
military.
Huge explosions
rocked Islamabad's Red Mosque early Tuesday morning as
security forces blasted their way into the heavilyarmed
compound.
The government says
at least 70 women and children have been rescued and
another 70 militants taken into custody. Ambulances
ferried scores of wounded to nearby hospitals throughout
the day, while the terrified parents of students trapped
inside waited for information about their loved ones.
The military
assault came less than an hour after government
negotiators said they had failed to end the seven-day
standoff. The militant leaders reportedly refused to give
up a demand for complete amnesty and safe passage out of
Islamabad.
"He cites
numerous quotes from the Quran to document Musharraf's
alleged violations of Islamic law, culminating with the
recent events at the Lal Masjid [Red Mosque], as well as
several fatwas from clerics justifying action against
Musharraf," she said. A fatwa is a religious legal
ruling.
AUSTRALIAN actress
Sophie Heathcote has died suddenly in the United States
of an aneurysm, leaving behind two young children. The
33-year-old star of A Country Practice and Water Rats was
already battling skin cancer and pancreatic cancer when
the aneurysm struck on Wednesday.

Police were last
night desperately hunting a suspected al-Qaida inspired
terrorist cell following the discovery of two "Iraqi
style" car bombs designed to inflict mass murder,
one outside a London nightclub and the second on a street
nearby.
(CNN) -- Twenty-three people,
including three foreigners, were killed and 62 others
were wounded Monday in terrorist bombings in the Egyptian
Red Sea resort town of Dahab, the Egyptian interior
minister said. Habib al-Adly said 42 of the wounded are
Egyptian and three are members of the police.
One witness, Serge Loussararian of
Cairo, told CNN he was about 300 feet away when the
explosions occurred. He said the blasts went off in a
tourist area in front of hotels, restaurants and bars on
the beach. "We heard the three explosions," he
said. "It was quite loud." 
Young star Lindsay
Lohan was found unconscious in a hotel room after
overdosing on a deadly cocktail of cocaine and
painkillers.

Seo-gu, Incheon, Sunday. U;Nee's grandmother Lee (71)
found the woman's body in her 22nd-floor apartment Sunday
