The major prophecy pages of my site, otherwise known as the Almanacs, feature predictions I have arrived at using my own personal systems of divination. In a number of instances, these predictions are supported by prophecies from other sources: Nostradamus, the Bible, Edgar Cayce, and others.
This page will feature prophecies by Nostradamus that may be on the road to being fulfilled this year or sometime during the next several years. This page will also serve as a red alert to world events not being covered by the mainstream press, seen through the prism of prophecy.
Commentaries are by various authors and researchers - as well as articles by me - on the subject of Nostradamus.
Submissions will be considered. Although content is obviously important, articles must be well-written. Also, please keep your essays at medium length -- no "book chapters"!

April 17, 2008 (7:09 PM EDT), UPDATED May 21, 2008 (1:35 AM EDT): According to the Drudge Report, based on statistics at International Programs Center at http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/popclockworld.html, the world population will be 6,666,666,666 on May 10, 2008.
I find this quite disturbing when we consider the following quatrain by Nostradamus:
This quatrain is dated astrologically as May 10, although there is no year given. Even so, the fact that a significant occult number, 666, associated with great evil and found in the Book of Revelation, shall be achieved by the world population on that day and month is more than a bit disturbing when one considers the following projections for a global earthquake or supervolcanic eruption I have made using the base 7 system.

Earthquakes (January/February 2008)
The projection of May 2008, by itself, is remarkable only from the perspective of a base 7 patterning of the Point Mugu (1973), Whittier Narrows (1987), Northridge (1994) and Nisqually (2001) earthquakes and the eruption of Mount St Helen's (1980). That there exists a Nostradamus quatrain that further supports a major earthquake occurring on May 10 is possibly only coincidental in this instance since a year is not provided.
However, the fact that May 10 shall be linked to the number 666 during this year, and only during this year, should be cause for considerable alarm.
The
seismic troubles Nostradamus describes in Quatrain 9.83 is far
beyond that of any normal killer quake. It is powerful enough to
not only cause darkness to fill the air, sky, and land, but also
to turn the faithless and those of other faiths towards God and
the saints.
666, the number of man and also the number of the beast can further be expressed as a possible code for the opening of the sixth seal of Revelation which unleashes the universal earthquake, the moon of blood, the blackened sun, and nameless horrors in the heavens that may be associated with the ultimate arrival of Planet X.
Did
Nostradamus' Great May 10 Earthquake Strike in China?
In Quatrain 9.83 above, Nostradamus foresaw a terrible earthquake, "the great theatre filled up is ruined" and "the earth, sky, and land darkened and troubled" happening on May 10 (no year given) when "the infidel calls upon God and the saints." Is it possible that this may apply to the recent China quake? The earthquake struck on May 12, 2008 at 06:28:01 UTC (2:28: 01 PM EDT), missing Nostradamus' date by only two days.
There is no question that China is a largely atheistic country ("infidel") and we have seen the "darkness" in the air covering the land in the form of dust. Although I applied this quatrain and the date the world population would reach 6,666,666,666 more to the long-awaited West Coast quake and Yellowstone erupting, in a much larger sense, I clearly indicated that May 10 would approximate the date of the opening of the sixth seal of Revelation and the so-called "universal earthquake."
Is the breaking of the Sixth Seal of Revelation taking place slowly?
If we focus away from the failure of the West coast to deliver a major quake or Yellowstone to erupt (so far anyway), May 2008 has indeed been a scary month ... and the month is far from over. The Chaiten Volcano could yet be a precursor to Yellowstone I suppose, and was a major event in and of itself; another massive temblor rattled Tokyo and other parts of Japan; the cyclone in Myanmar has caused unprecedented casualties and destruction; and now a new "Great China Quake" ... hardly a week passes without some new geological or weather-related horror since Chaiten blew its top. And all of this activity has occurred in May.

Are we witnessing events that shall continue to accumulate and worsen over the course of May until the sixth seal has finally been opened?
What about the July 2008 vector for an asteroid impact (or was our near miss in January our close call)? Even if Toutatis or some other space rock doesn't smack into the sea or ocean in that month, I think I'd be concerned about something nearly as bad happening, given what is already occurring in the world in a month that was supposed to be the eruption of the Yellowstone caldera. At the current rate events are taking place, the world may well be in nearly as bad a shape by the end of May as it would have if Yellowstone had erupted ... or even worse by July.

July 25, 2007 (1:42 AM EDT): England is now, according to British news reports, experiencing the worst flooding in its recorded history. Thus my projection for Massive Flooding in Portions of Europe, New Record Levels beginning in April 2007 has been fulfilled (the process of heavy rainfall, storms, and flooding began in Turkey in May 2007 and moved westward across Europe in June, increasing in magnitude until it seemingly reached its peak in England and Wales, but still continues to grow steadily worse in England). Still, as bad as it has been, it was not preceded or accompanied by a massive quake in northwestern Italy. Then again, this could happen later: the flooding of half of England and a major geological disturbance in northern Italy need not occur in the sequence they appear in the above quatrain by Nostradamus. However, if this should happen soon, so too will a major war in the Middle East and yet another massive earthquake, next time in London itself during Easter, which falls on March 23, 2008.
The problem in all of this lies with the base 7 system: Italy is not due for a major earthquake of nearly apocalyptic proportions until November 2008, which is another 16 months away. Even so, the current flooding in England may only be a preview of what is to come. If half of the isle truly sinks, it is likely to be for the same reasons the Midwestern US, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana also will: due to persistant climatological conditions that will cause chronic flooding. If floodwaters are not allowed to recede, additional days and weeks of rainfall, geological recessions caused by substantial earthquake activity, or catastrophic tidal conditions will further plunge the regions deeper into chronic inundation, resulting in a nearly permanent state of total saturation that may take years or even decades to reverse.
In any event, according to Nostradamus' Quatrain 9.31, a massive earthquake will strike Mortara, thirty miles northwest of Milan. It will be accompanied by major flooding in southern Italy. The cities of Florence, Naples, and Venice will be submerged. At nearly the same time a great deluge will sink Wales, Cornwall and the Scilly Islands. Many commentators simply say that "the tin isles of St George" (Scilly Islands) is just a clever way of saying England itself, thus half of England will be submerged by water. Most commentators agree that "the temple" referred to is Westminster Abbey, built upon the site of the ancient Temple of Apollo. The description of huge fissures cracking open at the location indicates that a major quake will also rock the city of London. The Mortara Quake should occur in November 2008. The London Quake would then follow at Easter 2009, which falls on April 12, 2009.
The new war that is awakened in November 2008 and escalated in April 2009 will likely be the long-anticipated conflict in the Middle East between the US and Iran (added to the current fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan) and another between Israel and the Palestinians, Lebanon, and Syria. Both of these will spread throughout the entire region, fusing with the US wars, bringing Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey into the fray as allies of Israel and the United States, triggering "World War III in the Middle East." This in turn brings in Russia and the European Nato members (or else an EU force), leading to horrific naval battles in the Eastern Mediterranean and southern Adriatic that will involve the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
Note that this matches my own base 7 parameters for the nuclear destruction of New York City by terrorists on August 9, 2008 (which is also the 9th of Av next year), triggering "The War of Alus" (WW3 in the ME) beginning in October 2008 and reaching a terrible conclusion in July and August 2009, at which time Iran and its allies declare war on the European Union (July 29, 2009, which is also the 9th of Av that year) and Russia follows suit after an assassination and turmoil breaks out in the Balkans and Hungary (August 8, 2009).
By this time the US will have been forced to withdraw in defeat from Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Iraq will be made a strong ally of Iran, and southern Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon will be laid to waste by Egypt and Israel due to fighting with Palestinians and Hezbollah. Mubarak is assassinated and Egypt is defeated and conquered by Iran and Iraq. Jordan is destroyed by Iranian and Russian nuclear weapons. Many Syrian cities are destroyed by Israeli nuclear missiles. Northern Israel is made uninhabitable by Iraqi chemical and biological weapons supplied by Syria and Iran.
Planet X has slowly been making its presence known since The Asian Tsunami that shocked the world in December 2004. Now, with utter rapidity, its encroaching death-dealing blow is being felt planet-wide. Major earthquakes in South America, volcanic eruptions in Indonesia and Africa, mind-boggling flooding in England, metro-New York, Texas and Oklahoma, India, China, the worst heat wave on mainland Europe and the US western states, the worst winter weather in Australia since records have been kept, the second worst dust storm on the planet Mars in space history ... all have happened in the space of only a week!
The time for lulls in the weather and geological catastrophes appears to be ending. We are there, in that place which Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and St John of Patmos warned of long ago. The dreaded opening of the sixth seal of Revelation is soon! At this rate, it can hardly be more than a year away. And then upon the year ensuing (2009) the ancient horror will make its appearance, that which has been called Marduk, Typhon, Nibiru, Wormwood, the winged orb, the Dragon's Tail, the Ball of Redemption, the Day of Wrath, and the great and the small will flee from its face and hide in caves and underground shelters. To no avail! At least 2 out of 3 humans shall perish worldwide. Millions will die moment by moment, hour by hour, as the oceans turn to vapour!
And as the world destroys man, man shall destroy the world. Global war on a scale never before seen and can only be imagined. Mass genocide against civilians committed by the very governments and leaders the people have recklessly placed their faith in. France shall dance a new bloody dance and her sisters, Italy and America, shall join her. The guillotines are ready; they are waiting for the heads they shall shave cleanly from millions of necks. The barber and the coffin-maker will agree not to lie in each others shade! Then, when America is 3/4 inundated by water, reduced to two large clumps of land on east and west and many tiny islands in between, then finally will come the dreaded nuclear exchanges with Russia. The masculine woman who rules the great pond nation shall die in the inferno that will be Washington DC as the anti-missile system for what remains of the East Coast fails to stop the Russian's incessant attacks.

Nostradamus writes about many calamities that shall befall this planet, not only during our time, but for centuries to come. But the longest lasting natural catastrophe of all that will plague Mankind, even 1,700 years from now, until our world and solar system is finally transformed by fire into a new heaven and new earth as promised at the end of the Book of Revelation, shall be the FLOOD:
"I find that before the final universal conflagration the world will see so many floods and such high inundations, that there will scarcely remain any land not covered by water, and this will last for so long that outside of the topography of earth and the races which inhabit it, everything will perish."
Global warming is a reality. Long after Nibiru has returned to the outermost regions of our solar system, sea and ocean levels will continue to rise. Geological catastrophes shall diminish and end (save those God shall briefly allow during 'the age of the seventh angel'), but not the climate and eco-system related horrors caused by melting ice, excessive carbon dioxide and condensation from the greenhouse effect, and the resulting rising waters. If the prophet is correct, in the end there shall be scarcely a spot of land to stand upon.
It is hard to say where our responsibilities end and the destruction that is out of our hands due to Planet X begins. But one thing is certain: the more lax we have been and are being about the environment and global warming, the more ammunition we are providing for this great destroyer from space. Nor need we be sitting ducks for the asteroids and meteors this horror shall dump upon us (even now the Dawn space mission has been launched to dislodge two massive asteroids out of the path of Planet X that otherwise would be deviated in our direction).
In two years time, or if we are fortunate, in five years time (if an important related event should occur in 2009), we shall reap part of what we ourselves have sewn. May we sew better things these next two to five years.

August 14, 2007: The elections in France are
over. Jacques Chirac bowed out over a month before,
Segolene Royal slipped in the polls after the first
faceoff, and one of the most unpopular figures in French
politics ever was elected, sparking off riots nationwide.
The election of Nicolas Sarkozy certainly seems to land a
giant fly in the ointment of prophecy. Despite some rather unconvincing quatrains I presented earlier heralding a potential Royal victory, I still believe Sarkozy's election does not change some very intriguing prophecies by Nostradamus concerning an "important old man" of France who just won't go away, even though he has been "least honoured" among the French presidents. |

Technically it never did matter whether Sarkozy or Royal won. Nostradamus more than hints that an "old man" who is "least honoured" among the French will make some sort of comeback during a time of war. I have always suspected that there was a chance that Chirac would either lose an election or choose not to run or else temporarily lose control of France to Iranian/Muslim invaders if he was re-elected. Some sort of hiatus in his leadership, combined with his memory or legacy being dishonoured among his people, has been highly suggested by Nostradamus' prophecies.
I believe that as far as he is concerned, Chirac thinks he is done with politics forever.
However, I doubt Chirac would turn down appeals by his countrymen to resume the presidency or even to be made a monarch, especially if it is out of a sence of duty. Chirac will forever have a strong nationalistic pride in France and an idealistic desire for there to always be a strong European Union. On issues of defending France and Europe against any and all enemies, including terrorists and rogue states, Chirac's voice has been the strongest since the days of Charles de Gaulle. The French may hate his domestic policies, but they have had nothing but respect for his international vision and strong leadership abroad.
It also would not be the first time a leader of France was down for the count and considered out of power for good, only to make a startling comeback. Everyone believed Napoleon was finished when he was exiled to Elba. Nine months later, he returned to France, drove out the Bourbons, and restored his Empire, living to fight one last war. The restoration of his empire lasted only 1/3 of a year, but it was an unimaginable and spectacular triumph applauded by many Frenchmen.
Chirac may return to fight one last war too: the most important and decisive war in modern history, World War III.
If Royal would have been inept at handling the internal problems dividing France at this time, especially along north-south lines, Sarkozy will be a disaster. We already see the rioting all over France in responce to his election and further anger at news that he is on vacation "whilst Paris burns." I have received emails from some French viewers in the past, and many consider Sarkozy to be psychotic. In other words, Nicolas Sarkozy is to France what Vladimir Zhirinovsky would be to Russia. Sarkozy's election may even be a sign that Zhirinovsky will win in Russian elections in March 2008.
I think that after the turmoil Sarkozy's administration will bring to France, including war, the French will be all to happy to have papa Chirac back. Here is a quatrain to really question:

All the cities and towns in lines 2 and 3 are located in southwestern France well below the 44th parallel. The strikes against them are either nuclear, FAE, or a mixture of both.
Look, this quatrain has never been fulfilled. The Nazis never ever got this far south in France during World War II. No foreign army with modern weapons has ever pulled this off. It has to be about World War III.
So who is the "important old man" who escapes southwestern France with the aid of Germany whilst it is under attack? Sarkozy is not old.
Whoever he is, he is "important" from a French point-of-view or else a Catholic point-of-view. Could he be Pope Benedict who is himself German? Not likely. Too many other quatrains say the pope will die or be killed in southeastern France, in Avignon specifically, during a military attack. The murdered pope is also given the name "Paul the celibate" (not John Paul or Benedict), thus suggesting a pope with the name Paul VII.
Who can this "old man" be who will be so important to France? I cannot think of any other old political figure the Germans would rescue from southern France during a time of war but Jacques Chirac. Here he is again:

Chirac has already been deprived of his position by Nicolas Sarkozy and has been (and is being mocked) by the French media. Sarkozy is the foreigner: Sarkozy is not a native-born Frenchmen and his father was Hungarian. In line 3, we have the severing of the hands of French soldiers, a form of Islamic justice. Sarkozy, Chirac's self-appointed heir ("brother") will be betrayed and killed.
According to Les Propheties the former French leader returns to France via a route that would take him through Belgium into the northern part of the country, via the forest of Ardennes. France will be plagued with civil war by this time, and still partly occupied by Muslim troops as well. Paris will already be destroyed by its own people. With a small military base and the aid of a Belgian or British military commander with a hawk nose he will gradually muster more and more French forces to his side as word spreads that Chirac is back. A war of liberation will commence.
Remember, Nostradamus calls this all important leader an "old man" and Chirac certainly qualifies at age 74. By the time global war has reached this point in either 2010, 2011, or 2012, he will be 77, 78, or 79. Bear in mind that Nostradamus does not give his figure "Chiren" a long life once he is made monarch and then emperor. He spends almost all of what remains of his imperial reign "driving the barbarians from the sea" and bringing "peace to Italy," and a short time after he does, he dies. Old European prophecies that say the "great Monarch" will be an old man say he will reign no longer than seven years then will "give up the ghost." Other prophecies that mention a "great Monarch" who is young (about 40) all seem to be dated around the year 2038 to 2041 (which indicates a second great monarch Nostradamus calls Philippe in my opinion).
Something else to consider, if Chirac is not Chiren.
On this website's personal forum, The Prophetic Messenger Service, we have looked at figures such as Henry Harris Lines, Henrik Selin, the actual royal pretenders to the throne of France themselves, and others: all in an effort to find someone whose name matches "Chiren" or "Henry/Henri."
I would point out that Prince Charles is on record for having said that when he becomes king, he will not go by the name of Charles but by the name of GEORGE. In other words, a monarch has the discretion to choose any name he desires as his royal identity.
This is also true of a restored French monarchy. If a man chooses to be crowned as Henry V, he need not have Henry as his actual name. Thus, any man, regardless of what his real first name is, who is given the honour of being a new French monarch, can take the name of Henry if he so desires.
And that could be just about anybody.

January 4, 2007 (3:35 AM EST), UPDATED January 20, 2007 (5:34 AM EST): I was looking over the recording of the execution of Saddam Hussein and noticed that the trap was sprung when he was in mid-sentence saying a prayer. He literally died while speaking. This caused me to recall another phrase: "a great execution." Then I realised these phrases appeared in a Nostradamus quatrain. The quatrain is above.
I have long thought the dart was a missile of some sort and that the "execution" was of people caught in mid-sentence when the nuclear warhead exploded. Now I am not so sure! What if the "dart" is Comet C/2006 P1 McNaught, now visible in the southern hemisphere and visible earlier this month in the north until about January 13?
That is correct. It wasn't supposed to be a northern comet at all, not attaining naked eye visibility until after re-emerging from the glare of the sun in the southern hemisphere. But it brightened on January 1 and is now a major comet. It brightened two days after Saddam Hussein was executed.
It is unknown whether Comet C/2006 P1 McNaught will still become as bright as magnitude - 8.8 as earlier projected (40x brighter than Venus). It remains a possibility. There hasn't been a comet that bright since Comet Ikeya-Seki appeared in October and November 1965 (some observations place Ikeya-Seki's utmost magnitude at - 10). It is currently brighter than Venus at a staggering magnitude of - 6 and can also be seen during daylight in the northern hemisphere. At this time Comet McNaught qualifies as a "great comet" (one out of eight such comets seen during the last 263 years). That is all it need do to be the Mabus comet.
Southern hemisphere viewers can look in the evening sky just above the horizon 20 to 40 minutes after sunset. It will be to the left of Venus. It is possible if it reaches magnitude -8.8 that the tail will remain visible in the north, shooting straight up vertically from the horizon in the northern hemisphere until about January 25. At that point we may see its tail shooting up from the horizon as a shaft of light! Like a dart of light, like the shaft of an arrow of light!

The "stone" is believed by many Nostradamus experts to be the nuclear warhead on the tip of a missile, and the "tree" the plume of fiery debris and smoke rising heavenward after the explosion.
Nostradamus may be describing the United States as "the proud nation." The US will be "brought down" fast because of some horrible weapon. A nuclear weapon or weapons!
In the last line he says that human beings will be turned into mist during what can only be a nuclear attack.
Saddam Hussein is the "monster purged" from Iraq, and the price he paid ("expiation") for his crimes against humanity was his hanging!

Now will the "great destruction of humans and beasts" follow? Is there to be "sudden vengeance" against America for the execution of Mabus (Saddam) in the form of nuclear terrorism?
Or will there actually be a nuclear war ?
Because Saddam died heroically and because he was mocked at his execution by Shi'a who support Muqtada al-Sadr, the Sunni populace is enraged and preparing for civil war in ernest.

Photo: Reuters/Radu SighetiMOGADISHU, Jan 9 (Reuters) - A U.S. attack plane killed many people with barrages of gunfire in a remote Somali village occupied by Islamists thought to be hiding at least one al Qaeda suspect, a Somali government source said on Tuesday. In the first known direct U.S. military intervention in Somalia since a failed peacekeeping mission that ended in 1994, an AC-130 plane rained gunfire on the desolate southern village of Hayo near the Kenyan border late on Monday.
"I understand there are so many dead bodies and animals in the village," the senior source told Reuters.
The U.S. Navy also confirmed it had moved the aircraft carrier Eisenhower to the Somali coast -- Africa's longest -- to beef up a naval cordon it had already put there as the Islamists sought refuge in the remote southern tip.
"They are, with other ships, making sure that terrorists are not able to use the sea as a means of transport," said Charlie Brown, a spokesman for the U.S. Fifth Fleet, which is based in the Gulf state of Bahrain.
U.S. intelligence believes Abu Talha al-Sudani, identified in grand jury testimony against Osama bin Laden as an explosives expert from Sudan, is the leader of east Africa's al Qaeda cell and has been in and out of Somalia for over a decade.
"The Americans are saying an al Qaeda member heading operations in east Africa is among the Islamists there," the source said. He did not know the man's name or whether he died.
U.S., Ethiopian and Kenyan intelligence officials say some Islamists have provided shelter to a handful of al Qaeda members, including suspects in the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and a 2002 hotel bombing on the Kenyan coast.
Besides al-Sudani, Washington has named Comorian Fazul Abdullah Mohammed and Kenyan Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan among the al Qaeda members in Somalia.
The Washington Post, quoting unnamed military sources, said al-Sudani was one target of the raid.

The air strike on Somalia fulfills one of my predictions on 2007 (Part One) where I actually name Somalia as a potential target.
Could this be the start of the "great destruction of people and beasts?" Is the US planning on other attacks in other countries, perhaps another "shock and awe" air assault in Iraq to destroy all insurgents and the long-waited air strikes on Iran? What of North Korea's Kim Jong Il and his recent announcement that another nuclear test will be conducted very soon ... could Kim actually be planning an attack against the United States under the guise of nuclear tests? Events in space and on earth are moving quickly ...
Nostradamus seemed to believe that a new "Marianne" will use extreme and painful measures to impose peace upon an increasingly restive France, plagued by periodic rioting by disaffected Parisian youths and a growing Muslim population angry with French laws that interfere with the practise of their religion and under the sway of a popular firebrand mullah in the Lauragues (now Castelnaudary in Aude, southwestern France). Her reign, according to the French seer, will come to a bad end.

NOTE: Selin is from the Greek Selena, goddess of the crescent moon and, thus, a symbol of Islam. The tyrant, Saddam Hussein, was put to death by hanging near the Tigris River. This has stimulated further sectarian violence and terrorism in Iraq as the country plunges deeper into civil war. The "new war" may extend to other nearby nations such as Turkey, Syria and Iran. The "lady" may be Segolene Royal as newly-elected President of France. Terrorism and unrest in southern France and possibly in and around Paris shall be ignited "in honour" of her election victory.
Unlike Segolene Royal, in an alternative election where Chirac wins, there appears to be a celebratory air after his being elected and some initial success in establishing and maintaining peace and accord throughout France during a third term. Nor does he appear to stoop to oppression to accomplish this as is indicated in Q1.94 under a Royal administration. However, the eventual results are the same: looting and rebellion by youth gangs, mobs of malcontents, and ethnic Muslims, with a foreshadowing of revolution and an eventual Iranian invasion of southern France.
This election will not be held until April 2007 and any runoff election may be as late as May 2007. Could the "Mabus effect" continue to occur and worsen this long after the passing of Comet McNaught and Saddam's execution: a period of four or five months? It is very, very possible.

Perhaps war with North Korea does not take place until the female candidate Segolene Royale ("great Royal of gold") wins the French presidential election in the spring. Not only is the last name, "Royal," named; but so is "Segolene" with the word "gold."
The reference to "brass" may mean that she does not revive the economy and the times will become substandard ("brass"). It also has the meaning that she rises to power (is "augmented") by raising and investing a great deal of money in her campaign. "Brass" can mean coinage, ie. money.
To Nostradamus, the pudgy-faced Kim Jong Il would have the appearance of a "young man," although he is in middle age. The young man could also be Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad if Iran declares war on US troops in Iraq and the Persian Gulf.
The people who are "afflicted" with a "lamentable leader" might be the people of France, since Ms Royal is not portrayed favourably in Quatrain 3.28: "Never in the kingdom has there arrived one so bad." Otherwise, it could be the leader of Iran, Ahmadinejad; or the new leader of Iraq, now powerless to stop the raging civil war; or the people of North Korea living in hardship under the lamentable "dear leader," Kim Jong Il.
The last line, "barbarians," often is used for Arabs and Muslims. But I suppose Nostradamus, seeing North Koreans, might consider these Mongols as "barbarians" too. Then again, the last line may mean jihad has come to southern France as predicted by Nostradamus, this time either from foreign invasion or by revolution of ethnic Muslims. In any case, a Muslim attack or uprising will be put down with great force and violence, causing their blood to cover the land. Yet another interpretation is that an air war has been launched against Iran around the same time as war with North Korea. Although I doubt such a war will end in victory for the US, the initial air campaign will certainly cause much bloodshed.
The following quatrain is even more terrifying because it could mean some sort of nuclear naval battle between Russia or China and the United States:

The action of this quatrain appears to coincide with the hanging ("stretched") of a nation's leader. This may be Saddam Hussien and the city may be Baghdad.
This nuclear showdown, however, could occur almost anywhere. It is most probable if it were to be fulfilled any time soon that the battlefield would be the Pacific Ocean or the Persian Gulf. Two adversaries ("captives"), each having tremendous forces, face off, destroying each other's fleets. This could be war between China and the United States, triggered by actions made by North Korea.
The “captives” could also allude to the intertwined fate of the twins, Castor and Pollux: Russia and the US. Russia may, seemingly overnight, become an adversary of the US in both Eastern Europe and the Middle East, now plagued by several wars.
One side will provoke the other and a naval battle will commence. As the fighting escalates, in a state of confusion and panic, US and Russian or Chinese submarine commanders will retaliate by launching armed conventional torpedoes. The circle of fire will widen, with more US and Russian or Chinese ships being destroyed in a nuclear naval battle ... one capable of triggering a nuclear attack on the US mainland. Line 4 is an excellent description of a submarine fleet.
Hopefully, these interpretations are wrong. But if they are right, there is very little time remaining.

LINKED TO NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION OF NYC

September 2, 2006 (10:47 PM EDT), UPDATED September 12, 2006 (7:49 PM EDT) - We must all wonder when watching and hearing Adam Gadahn, the now infamous "Azzam the American," speaking out to the West on videotape with all the same authority as Ayman al-Zawahri and Osama bin Laden, if he is actually doing so completely of his free will. Is it possible that Gadahn is a brainwashed hostage rather than a willing convert? How would Nostradamus describe someone who is seemingly free yet held captive psychologically? It is here I believe that the prophet is describing Adam Gadahn as he is today and the role he may one day play:

Could line 3 of Quatrain 9.92 be Nostradamus' way of describing a brain-washed American hostage who has complete freedom "to speak and act," much in the way Adam Gadahn has been allowed? It seems the prophet envisions a kind of "Manchurian Candidate" type who will be broadcast on the evening news and whose purpose will be to either lull fears or actually warn of a pending nuclear attack against New York City. Perhaps he will even help carry out the detonation of the device as a kind of nuclear version of Timothy McVeigh.
We all know that is it only a matter of time before terrorists destroy New York City -- the economic capital of America and the world -- with a nuclear device or a nuclear-tipped rocket. Twice it has been attacked, in 1993 and in 2001. The second attack, compared to the first, was like a massive, destructive earthquake compared to a less severe temblor that only managed to shatter some windows, crack a few buildings, and rattle everyone's nerves. When terrorists strike NYC a third time, the magnitude of the act will go off the chart. It will be the final time: a nuclear attack. Perhaps, it will be the "American Al Qaeda" himself who will execute the final directive. I believe this event will take place in August/September 2008 or April 2009, but it could still happen much sooner.
No question that the "unparalleled kingdom" in Quatrain 5.83 is the United States of America, if this portent of doom is intended for our time. We should anticipate three videotapes, three nights in a row or nearly, to be shown on television, aimed squarely at the citizens of the United States. Is today's videotape from Ayman al-Zawahri and "Azzam the American" the first of three to come? "Fraud," in this Nostradamus quatrain, is intended to mean "to deceive, to confuse."
So as "the greatest one," President George W. Bush, reads his Bible, we wait for yet another videotaped warning.
He will wish to visit the "Big Apple," but will suspect treachery and "stay far from the enemy." From an underground bunker somewhere or from Strategic Defense headquarters, he will watch, hoping against all hope that the act will not be carried out. He may even prepare to direct efforts to defend the city using his missile defence system in the event the attack comes from enemy nuclear ballistic missiles. But the devices that will bring destruction will already be in the city, unreachable and hidden.

third tape has been released, this time
"starring" Ayman al-Zawahri, bin
Laden's second-in-command. Still nothing quite
specific regarding an attack on the US mainland
has emerged. Rather, Al Qaeda's sights appear to
be aimed at destroying the US military presence
in the Persian Gulf and the state of Israel, with
a vague threat against the UN peacekeepers
assembling in Lebanon. Also, in the most general
and even ambiguous of terms, there appeared to be
a hint that strikes against America itself may
soon commence, yet the warning ended in what
sounded like yet another threat against US
military forces. This third tape most certainly did not sound like an Al Qaeda warning on the eve of an "American Hiroshima." Far more threatening have been past videotapes made a year and more ago. I have noted that al-Zawahri's warnings have never preceded anything momentous. In all four cases of major attacks, 911, 311, 7-7 and Bali, Bin Laden had the last word on audiotape or videotape. Therefore, I have to conclude that the Nostradamus scenario discussed above in Quatrain 5.83 has yet to happen. In all likelihood when it does the videotapes will be aired on three consecutive nights, not three tapes over the space of eight or nine days as was the case this time around. Probably each tape will be so troubling, possibly each one actually mentioning a pending nuclear attack, that it will be the "big news" of each of the three days, with 24-hour coverage, and the nation initially put on a state of orange alert and then red alert by the second or third night. I also strongly suspect we shall see more of Adam Gadahn, who may very well be the nuclear version of Timothy McVeigh, as we near the total destruction of NYC in 2008 or 2009. |
| Emphasis on
this tape is on al Qaeda's "legal and
rational justification" to
"continue" its fight with the USA, the
defeat of the United States in the Persian Gulf,
its "economic ruin," the defeat of
Israel, the destruction of US "power"
or America's "surrender," mention that
America's leaders are hiding "the true
extent of the disaster" (the nuclear
terrorist act on US soil yet to come), and that
new disastrous events are multiplying in the
world. The upshot of all of this in the very near term remains unclear. Note that the the US "economic ruin" will not be achieved until troops have been forced out of the Persian Gulf. He does not say that the military defeat will cause the "economic ruin," rather he says this will be the point in time when the "economic ruin" will be achieved (as though it was a separate event). Remember, Bin Laden and other Al Qaeda figures have always linked America's "economic ruin" with the nuclear destruction of Manhattan and a handful of other select US cities, an operation they have dubbed "American Hiroshima." This agrees with the Seer of Waldviertel's prophecy that New York City will be destroyed after the US loses the war in Saudi Arabia (the Gulf region), but before a major limited conflict in the Balkans and an Eastern invasion of Europe. Indeed, the destruction of New York, according to the Waldviertler, is a long-awaited terrorist reprisal to some singularly atrocious action that will have been committed by the US military. Thus, it would appear that the US will first be defeated and forced to withdraw from Iraq and the Persian Gulf region, and then afterwards shall be punished for its war in the region (and all perceived crimes committed there) by a nuclear attack on NYC. Personally, I think this nuclear destruction of NYC is still another two, possibly even three, years away. As for whether another major, non-WMD attack is near for the US, we can only wait and see what happens. The final vector for such an attack is February 2007 and may involve flooding Manhattan. It is important when one looks at these famous prophecies of Michel Nostradamus, to look at them in a multi-language setting. We have the French before us, and an English interpretation.
In the first line, we have the word, "Devant," in French. With an insertion of an "i" we have the word, deviant. Deviant is the meaning for a person who is sexually maladjusted. This term is right next to the word for "the father."
The next words over are the word for
"infant." In older French law, a child was considered
an infant until it was six years old. And of course, Jon Benet
was six years old at the time she was killed.
Line two says, "The father afterwards." Or, "after the father makes entry," or ... as the synonyms would tell us, we could use the word, "penetration," which is a legalistic sexual term for a forced sex act or a sex act in itself.
So it says, "after the father makes penetration," and then it has the words "cordes de jonc," in French. That means..." see, or look at dead jonc." In other words, "see jonc dead, corded." The father penetrates. That completes line 2.
The third line is necessary to look at in French, because we have the word "Geneva," or in French, "Geneuois." We see an "o" next to the "is." "O," in Nostradamus prophecies, can often times stand for nothing and is not necessarily part of the word we are looking for. So transpose "is" to "si" and we have "u si" ("you see") and then we have the letters ... "gene." Remember that we looking here for the name, "Benet."
Please notice we have no "t" in that pronunciation. Also, remember that the "b" and the "g," are orthographically are somewhat interchangeable. They have the same form. One is just turned upside-down. So this is a clever way of giving the name, "Benet." "You see Benet."
Now, to go on, we have the next word, in French, is "people," but that word is also, "family." Such as the Benet family. Then, we have a rather unusual English term, "will have exerted," which simply comes out to "will not show themselves," or "will not expose themselves."
This is true, the Benet family will not give testimony on the legal case that they have become involved in.
Now
we go on to the last line of this prophecy, where Nostradamus is
saying, "The chief." We know that JOHN Benet Ramsey was
considered a chief of his company, and Nostradamus' line,
"in the middle," or being in the center, or being at
the center, or within the center.
We know that the place... where Mr. Benet worked, was called "The Center" and he is the chief executive at: "The Center." Then it goes on to say, "like a log," and in French, we have, "comme un tronc." This comes out to: "me nom tronc."
This is very interesting because that's the word, "log," and in Old English, also the word, "block", to cram. Please notice ... "cram"... and we turn it around ... and you have, "Ram-c" a phonetic clue for the person involved here. "My name is Ramsey."
Then, we also have the word," block", or... blockhead. In French it means fool, or in modern day French, the word, "benet."
That ends the analysis of this particular prophecy.
There is also another prophecy on this incident; Nostradamus wrote it in Century 2, Verse 64.
The crime took place in December of 1996.
Please remember, we must look at these prophecies, at the same time, in BOTH English and in French. This is where we are getting our codes and our keys and our different meaning. Nostradamus did say several times in his prophecies, that he hid these prophecies in the languages and in the words themselves. This is simply what we are doing. A large anagram, or a large crossword puzzle.
In the first line, "The people of Geneva." The word, "family" and "people" are interchangeable, and, then ... we have the word, "Geneuoise," in French.
We encountered this word in our other
verse,, and found out that it can stand for, "you
see benet." So ... now we have the term, "benet,"
and then it says, "Gent." Gent, in Old
English, is "Mister," Mr. Benet.
Nostradamus now relates..."drying up with hunger." "Hunger'" in Old English, also meant, "lust, thirst and desire." These are synonyms we are using... for the words we see in the text here.
Then, we have:
"Hope, at hand will come to fail." This is interesting, because the name of the police officer in this situation is... "Kope." Now... change the "H," in hope to a "K." Kope is who was handling or was in charge, will come to fail. In other words he is not successful in the police investigation of Mr. Benet.
In the third line, in French, we see, "Sur point tremblant."
"What will happen to this Sir," or "what is the point of this Mr?"
The word, "trembling," gives us the point of it. He will be the feared one. Please notice once again, that we have, "you see benet." It says, he will face the law. We are using both the French and the English.
Do not try and use the English alone.
Do not try and use the French alone.
Many of these clues are also in additional languages, mainly Latin, and some Greek at times. We have to look for these things. For instance, the word, "loi," in the third line, "...will face the law, or will be the law." The word, "look," ..." lo," is standing for... "look or behold," and then we see benet. They fear benet. It will be the law of fear, that takes over in this particular case.
Then.
.. it finally says: "...Classe," this
also means, "...family, no longer
welcome at the great port." "Grand,"
also means, "capital," and, "port"
also means, the color of red. So, we have here, color of
red .... "Colorado." It says,
"the family at the grand port, or the family in
Colorado." There is an anagram here: Nostradamus
puts into play ... He ends it by saying: "cannot be
received," this can mean, "will no longer be
welcome."
So, we see the fate of John Benet [RAMSEY] here, that because of the law of fear, that he will not be welcome in the state of Colorado. He will not be well received. Mr. Benet does face the law, the verse seems to be pointing out that the investigation and the work of the police comes to fail. We have an anagram for the word, "Kope," in the verse, and remember, some of these anagrams, or words or puzzles are phonetic.
When you see the word, "hope," we have the word ... "Kope," the name of the police chief in Boulder Colorado. The clues in the Nostradamus prophecies are not always orthographic clues, they are sometimes numerical clues and sometimes they include the use of codes and names hidden in the actual words.
It is not fair to take one or two lines, or one or two words and switch them around and come up with something in code. We have to look at every word of the verse, and we also have examine the verses, before and after the verse in use, to see if there is any additional meaning related to the verse in question.
These the codes, or tricks, Nostradamus used in his meanings, when he wrote these verses about future occurances in the 16th Century, has aided in the actual survival of the AMAZING PROPHECIES, and has caused them to survive to the time of their actual occurrence, here in the opening decades of the new millennium.

Things are getting interesting around Israel's neighborhood. It has been suggested that Iran ordered the Hezbollah provocations against Israel in order to divert attention from Iran's nuclear program. I believe that may have been one reason. The more important reason is to excite anti-Israel sentiment. Hezbollah is but a pawn. Israel's attacks in Lebanon will get Iran what it wants - a more general Islamic assent to the destruction of Israel. Hezbollah's leader, Nasrollah has promised that if Israel bombs Central Beirut, that missiles will be launched against Tel Aviv. This is the actual reason for the current conflict - to justify an Iranian nuclear missile launch into Israel.
There is a Nostradamus quatrain that seems related to the current conflict:

Nostradamus was of one of the tribes of Israel that settled in France. His family was forcibly Christianized. This was also the case with Israelites that settled in Spain. Those in Spain that secretly held onto Judaism, were known as Marranoes. Many of the Marannoes returned to the land of Israel and are now involved in the Mideast turmoil. Our prophet may have intended the Marrano sect for its similarity with the French spelling for sea: mer, marin.
Saad Ladin, son of Osama Bin Ladin has recently been sent to Lebanon to lead Al Qaeda there against Israel.
Aleph is the Hebrew word for the letter A. It may simply indicate The Israelis. It also strengthens our interpretation for line one. The sense of the entire poem is that Israel will prevail. Al Qaeda will have reason to fear the two wounded by the Israelis. It would seem that the two most likely to be feared are the nations of Iran and Syria.
June 29, 2006 (4:25 PM EDT), UPDATED July 15, 2006 (2:21 AM EDT): Almost six weeks following the air attack that killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, new developments suggest that the terrorist chief of the "Al Qaeda in Iraq" may have indeed been the dreaded "Mabus" of Nostradamus prophecy.
One notion that appeared to disqualify Zarqawi has quickly evaporated.
I had noted that his
beheadings of foreign captives and attacks on innocent Iraqi
civilians reportedly disgusted Al Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden
and his second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Later, al-Zawahiri
publically condemned al-Zarqawi for his actions and
seemed to disassociate the so-called "Iraqi Al Qaeda"
from the actual Al Qaeda.
However, in a surprise reversal, al-Zawahiri has mourned the killing of Musab al-Zarqawi in a videotape aired on June 27, indicating that those responsible (the US) would pay.
Two days from now, Osama bin Laden will reportedly be releasing a new tape praising al-Zarqawi and calling upon Al Qaeda members worldwide to seek "vengeance" for his death.
This certainly suggests that there may be an Al Qaeda retaliation against the United States for the assassination of Musab al-Zarqawi. Perhaps the terrorist attack may even take the form of the threatened "American Hiroshima," which would include the nuclear destruction of NYC.
Already there have been seven American-born
terrorists arrested in Miami, all who pledged allegiance to Al
Qaeda. They intended to attack targets in four US states,
including the Sears Tower. Since their arrest, several menacing
events have occurred: a massive explosion at a motel in Georgia,
an explosion and fire at a factory in Illinois still under
investigation, a bombing threat against President George W. Bush
discovered on a boat anchored in southern California, and a
shootout between police and a man holding a woman and child
hostage at a Las Vegas airport.
The media and government have downplayed these events as non-terrorist, domestic disturbances (i.e., accidents, a prank, the act of a suicidal man, etc.).
However, it is strange they follow on the heels of the arrests in Miami. Imagine a thousand such incidents throughout the United States on the same day, each one resulting in a few, scores, hundreds, and even thousands of deaths. That would be a very terrifying day indeed.

Bin Laden urged Iraqi militants in an Internet message Saturday to continue fighting the U.S.-led coalition in Baghdad, or else "all the capitals in the region will fall to the crusaders." The message also endorsed Abu Hamza al-Muhajer (aka Abu Ayyub al-Masri) as the new leader for his terror network al-Qaida in Iraq, succeeding Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was killed last month in a U.S. airstrike.
The message also purportedly encourages Sunnis to retaliate against Shiites in Iraq. As-Sahab Media says another bin Laden message is expected soon.
I have long argued that after the death of the true Mabus, the likely scenario would be a giant Middle East war, one that would escalate into a global conflict. This is the same "great war" in the Middle East that Alois Irlmaier predicted would precede a major Balkans conflict and World War III in Europe. This would begin as an Israeli-Palestinian armed conflict leading to an Israeli or US/Israeli war against Syria. It is possible the start of this confrontation has already begun:
Needless to say, if war breaks out between Israel and Syria, millions of people may die in one day. The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both warn that Damascus and other Syrian cities will be utterly destroyed by fire, probably ignited by nuclear missiles. Also, the "king of Babylon" (pro-US government in Iraq and US forces?) shall "rise like an eagle" over Bosra and smite a portion of Syria as well. This initial event of the war would more than fulfill the second line of the Mabus quatrain.
Meanwhile, as a new Arab-Israeli war threatens to boil over, a deadly escalation in the US war in Iraq still remains poised as Musab al-Zarqawi's successor consolidates his position. Is it possible that "Alus" will be much worse than "Mabus" ever was?
The "ARAB
PRINCE" arrived on time in the month of June. He is
Egyptian-born ABU AYYUB AL-MASRI (aka ABU
HAMZA AL-MUHAJER). He is also the dreaded "ALUS,"
I believe. Erika Cheetham suggests that "Alus" was
derived by Nostradamus from the Latin "Malus" ('evil
one"). Thus, we have Alus = Malus = Almus Ri = Mir Alus =
Emir Alas = Emir Alus = Alus.
Because al-Masri was born in Egypt, he may also be the monster prophesied by Islam known as the Sufyaani. His brutal beheading of two US prisoners-of-war begins what may be a much more horrifying reign of terror than that of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
It is also quite possible that the Mabus quatrain is really about a change in terrorist leadership and the horrific consequences that follow. In other words, after the death of Mabus (Abu Musab al-Zarqawi), Alus (Abu Ayyub al-Masri) takes his place ... and proves to be more brutal, destructive, and terrifying than Mabus ever was, ultimately causing mass death throughout the Middle East and triggering global war.
Meanwhile, as described in Quatrain 4.67, "from intense heat a great place burns": the worst Western wildfires to strike the United States and now Canada in many years. Could things also be heating up toward a massive explosion in one of several volcanoes now being watched? There have been many "incursions" by Israel into Gaza, Lebanon, and over Syrian air space. There has also been a major terrorist bombing in Mumbai, India. "Wars" continue unabated in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Kashmir, Sudan, Sri Lanka, and elsewhere. Also, "a long trajectory" has occurred or is about to occur: either the recent (but uneventful) passing of Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann or yet another long-range missile "test," this one successful, by North Korea to strike the United States or, perhaps, the fateful missile that Iran may launch against Israel (or vice versa). Could the latter somehow bring about the "great destruction of people and beasts" augured in Quatrain 2.62, the Mabus quatrain, now that Abu Musab (Mabus) al-Zarqawi is dead??
These events occurring in the aftermath of the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi should be of grave concern.

The Korean Central News Agency, citing an unidentified Rodong Sinmun newspaper "analyst" on Monday, accused the United States of increasing military pressure on the isolated communist state and basing new spy planes on the Korean Peninsula.

The United States assumes, rightly or wrongly, that North Korea would only perform a test, not fire a missile as an act of war. But with madman Kim Jong Il pulling the strings in Pyongyang, who knows what he is capable of, this "red adversary" (see Quatrain 3.1 below concerning this Pacific Ocean dictator).
